Bought the green sub back in late 2016.

I am intending to sell it due to the COVID-19 pandemic to cover some essential expenses. Honestly, I'm still contemplating if I should sell it as I love absolutely this watch. But I want to hear your opinion on this. Please share your thoughts.

Should I sell or should I not.

P.S. I'm a fan of Rolex and these are my favorite Rolex quotes. Check out these quotes if you are a fan of Rolex too.

I guess you will know full well on your own financial position whether do you need to sell the watch.

Just curious how much the price it can command during this difficult time

I guess if you can own a Hulk you shouldnt just let it go like tat.. the pandemic is just temporary but losing a Hulk you wont get it back anytime soon at a good price..

I've never rated the Hulk to be honest as i can't seem to see what's so great about it.

But i would say if you love the piece, perhaps you could consider holding to it as someone else mentioned, the pandemic will pass but you might not be able to get the watch again

It’s okay bro, I was in ur situation a 3 years back. It broke my heart to sell my hulk but i told myself that these are just toys and and toys can always be replaced. Im still building myself up but manage to at least score an air king last year. One step at a time bro. U will persevere ! And that is one reason why I like Rolex as that money is never lost as the price appreciates. Truly an investment

I would keep the Starbucks for the better power reserve and newer movement.

From my experience, I believe that RSC tend to charge you according to how old your watch is when it comes to servicing fees.

My 5 digit DJ36 costs 50% more to service than my newer 2015 Submariner even though both uses the same movement.

Ya. That was one of the main reason why I put off buying a trinity watch for so long. I sked I cannot afford the servicing once the watch is more than 20 years old and is classified as vintage status.

Already have a trust fund set up for my 3 kids. Up to them on how they want to utilize the fund.

When I am no longer around, it’s up to them how they want to dispose of my watches, fountain pens and other collectibles.
