Hmmm...since it's coming nx month, makes me wonder why they didn't CPS Persona as well.....

I think the colour suits the Waja more...

If add around 3K for the CPS tech to improve performance and fuel economy, I still think it's worth it...
Hopefully they'll add in later during facelift, or offer as upgrade maybe?

the Gen2 facelift might and should use CPS campro....

I did visit the Proton showroom at taipan USJ and i must say i was almost mistaken with a new vios, expect this is a bigger vios. Overall i think the persona will be a true Proton savior as it is a true product that malaysian wants, a comfortable + practical small family saloon at affordable prices.

The interior deserves an mention as although not as good as those japanese sedans but still a far cry from the older gen2. The saber sword handbrake and impractical power window were among a few things removed and the interior looks more like a typical practical car. However how i wish they could eliminate the ugly gen2 steering.

The boot is indeed spacious and even bigger than the wira but i must say the rear seats is less spacious although at leats my head did not hit the roof like what it happended on the gen2.

I think i will give my final judgement once i am able to test drove it, hmm need to plan a test drive.

I felt i anticipated more on the face lifted gen2 with CPS!

The way they name their car is really crap. Obviously this a sedan version of Gen2. N u cant compare with Accord,Camry,C-Class. Malaysian car maker dun have car "family" or "series". Although this car is the "new" Wira,they wont call it wira.

I hope they get a better gearbox to complement the 'better' engine...

Wira the name remind me the orang utan mascot. Anyway see the car like a true car and no more cheap plastic and copy paste design. Especially the door panel no more plastic look. Last time design is like cheap ah beng type design. I wonder how the design team can get approved. Only thing is the steering wheel. They should change it.

That's malaysia mentality. They are not giving it to ur FOC,or selling it @ RM20K. Ur paying 49 freaking K. That should be price of a City.

People, normal la. Pay 50k expect to have 100k of quality. Pay for sedan, expect spacious as van. Pay for 1.6, expect to get a 1.0 fc.

With CPS/VIM = More power = Higher FC is acceptable.

BUT..

With CPS/VIM = NO power = Jerky gearbox = Higher FC is NOT acceptable.
