imo its more like whether the manufacturer want to add the feature or not.. well to cut costs, so remove some functions, like pressure sensitivity can be added if they want.. but the apple pencil itself is quite a simple device anyway, basically 3 features, pressure, tilt effect, and tap gesture

True, but like the case of goojodoq, the hardware revisions aren’t back-date-compatible. Meaning just because newer editions can do something, doesn’t mean the older editions can.

The nearest to Apple Pencil 2 is Adonit Note Plus. But if OS level Apple only supports their own stylus with no API for third party stylus to hook to, it becomes quite obvious as to what they’re trying to do. :/

I ordered iPad Pro 11” WiFi + Cellular on 25 June but until today it is still showing “your order is being processed”...
Why is it such a long delay in delivering? Estimate date is 1 month apart from date of ordering. Lack of stock?

I getting it as alternative to my MBP. Will use MBP at home and when go out will bring the iPad Pro. One reason is iPad Pro got Cellular connection - meaning I don’t have to use other divices to online when outside of WiFi zone or when phone’s battery is low.

I got my Apple Pencil 2 from China Apple Store, Main reason is I want to have chinese wording on it - free engraving. Now the pencil is on its way back to Malaysia.

After deep consideration, I go for Smart Keyboard instead of Magic keyboard, main reason is the magic keyboard is very heavy and if bring them together it will be my MBP weight level. I ordered it few days after the iPad Pro, and I already received it....

for the iPadPro, you've just got to wait. I ordered mine 9th of June, and it only changed from processing to preparing to ship to shipped on 29th June. Yeah. 3 weeks. Basically its getting assembled.

I just realized icloud backup only will happen if connected to wifi? I recently decided to cut my unifi wifi bcoz not satisfied with their service.. then now without wifi for more than 2 weeks, i see notification that icloud backup were not done in 2 weeks. My ipad is cellular model with sim card in it.. why apple make such silly rule? Or am i ignorant, and the setting can be changed? I tried to look for it but can’t do

Update: One casualty here. My iPad went into service centre due to not charging and battery drain issue. Haven't even installed the updates. Sent in to Service Centre at Sunway Pyramids.

Pretty good experience with Apple Care, was connected to someone in the US at 9pm yesterday night, get to choose the genre of music while waiting. Made appointment for checks today. Seamless.
