Just wanted to check in on my experience after owning the Fold 3 since August 2021.

I will never buy another foldable phone from Samsung again. The inner screen protector is a joke - its designed to peel/fail every 6 months so you have to pay RM120 to replace it all the time.

And if you refuse to, and try and press the protector back on, you risk damaging the screen and the connector inside, which means the screen cannot be used and will have to be replaced at a cost of RM2,000+

You're better off buying an Ultra S-series which works like a dream. Its too bad that Huawei X3 does not use Google playstore natively or that would be the ultimate foldable. Not this Samsung junk.

My Fold4 have a scratch and minor dent at aluminum bezel and hinge. When I wanna claim for my screen which unable to open flat 180degree, the service advisor mentioned most probably need to pay as the dent seems the culprit. I just make healthy argument about it & mentioned why not just submit the claim and see how's your HQ react as you're unable to proof that the phone dropped or not before that led to issue. I emphasize the needs to call if I really need to bear the cost and shall make official complaint to Samsung HQ. 2 days later received msg that the phone ready for collection, Samsung Malaysia replace new screen along with new screen protector, new aluminum bezel all around and get new hinge. Happy customer. Haha.
Past experiences dealt with Samsung Service 95% positive which I can't say the same with HTC, Huawei (3rd best support service after Apple and Samsung), Sony.

So Samsung delivered the phone first and then only come and pick up the trade-in phone? Sorry asking cause never bought online like this before.

This is defect. Same case for me (Black) and hold firm SPEN without this issue. Please feedback to Samsung and see they said.

Tried to test S23 Ultra SPen, apparently it's not supported. So it's a must to purchase Fold compatible SPen?

with latest release (just found out today), look like honor magic V2 fold is my new target now as rmb is 8999 .... n super slim for fold phone.

If i do factory reset, all my video will be gone,  juicy and nonjuicy one  .  140Gb.. Aiyoo  to back up over weekend ?? May take 1 whole day data transfer if lucky.  Last night took almost 2hr hours to transfer 45Gb .
I use original wire - macbook pro - 1Tb HDD  SATA.. 
I still find having physical HDD cheaper in longrun than subscribing cloud service with monthly fees

Anyone have similar experience / main screen failure than need sending to service cter  ?  Do they need to do factory reset ??

Z fold 5 Samsung cover, with the spen that’s loose issue.

One week or so, the service center place that I chosen will call me to get an exchange of the case. Really took 3 follow ups and 1 month plus.

Initially wanted Spigen, but when purchasing Z fold 5, got promo on case. not into changing cases. Now that they are replacing for me, I’m okay.
Good for you. Now I’m waiting for call to go collect. Did you need to print invoice? Sounded stupid, since it’s e-invoice issued buying online.

Anyone can recommend good selfie or tripod for Fold5?

Some challenges as Fold phone is kind of heavy to hold from selfie or tripod stick. Secondly if to take photo/video with unfold, how this gadget can support which is big size.
