There is trade in discount but you have to select the trade in option to see. Tried choosing my Fold5 and got a RM500 trade in discount, but not sure about other models. And if you register interest earlier you can get RM180 rebate code for free, and pay additional RM10 you can get another RM210 rebate, both can be stacked together.

We also don't get the free credits amount that we can use to offset the cost of accessories anymore. But I think more significant change is the price of the phone itself compared to the benefits we used to have.

If the S Pen is very crucial for your usage then can straightaway skip the Fold7 already.

I received the email for rm180 voucher. One gmail account receive but another gmail did not.

According to the tiny footnote on the complimentary samsung care+ banner in samsung members, we need to opt-in on both old and new device using the same samsung account. So I guess we don't have to checkout with the samsung care+ when purchase, but just redeem the samsung care+ through the app after receive the new phone? Because after I press the register, it only showed register received, no filling in info or any code to redeem.

Just played with the Fold7 at Penang gurney paragon samsung store. So thin and so light. A lot more comfortable to hold than my Fold5 because less burden to the hand. Blue colour looks good, silver and black quite ordinary.

Better aspect ratio coming from Fold5, wider but manageable with one hand. Didn't try typing a lot, but so far so good, even slightly wider is a plus to me.

Going to place order later today. Now dilemma which case to get. Fold7 cases are in weird logic, those attract me only give the back cover, why so hard to just give both sides.

But I already get the samsung 1 from pre-order because I want the case to arrive with the phone. Saw a video somewhere it was only 13g if I remember correctly. Latercase also come with front & back compare to samsung.

Latercase. Thinnest as far I know for fold7, and comes with both sides cover.

My status also just changed to awaiting dispatch, ships from 19 July. So excited, can't wait!

Which case you picked? Mine also delivered just now, but have to wait till after work go home unpack only know whether the case is inside. I took the carbon case.

I did cancel trade in last time when I bought the Fold 2, because the whatsapp customer service said i can. But not sure now the tnc got change or not.

Buy from the lazada official spigen, it's cheaper compared to it's shopee counterpart. Shopee selling Rm101, lazada only Rm85, both after apply voucher.

Unboxed, the case and free charger are inside the package.
Fold and unfold a few times, so far can open fully flat. I suppose official release won't have that problem because the hinge got a spring force that will push the inner screen flat once it open until certain angle.

Space is limited inside the phone, want it to be slim definitely some features will be removed or cut down.

Small tips for those who really want to use front case but having difficulty with the gesture from the sides, can search for "gesture sensitivity" in the phone setting and incease the level. This widen the area to detect gesture swiped in from the side.

So far i am using the same setup as you, while waiting for another set of aramid front+back case from china that looks similar to pitaka. I just find it slightly difficult to unfold the phone because the it is too thin and not much area to grip.

For me I prefer the blue colour because I think it really does look better than black. Besides, later you can easily change casing with different colour or transparent to match the phone, but for the phone you can't change once you have chosen.

What's the safest and proper way to reset the phone before you all hand over to compasia? Just run a full factory reset in the settings is enough?
