I keep it opened and seldom fold it... maybe 50 times per year ... and end up the film came out as well. My opinion you should keep fold/unfold once per day. That will make the film flexible rather than hardening.

So I think you cant avoid. just go to center replace it .. I asked the service center they said less than rm50 after used up 3 films.

The problem is they always out of stock for Fold4. That is something we need to worry.

Another my concern is, if Honor has routine software and security update? I feel very safe to use samsung because every month it will have security patch to apply. That's is important if you use phone for business purpose.

I remember I used xiaomi few yrs ago, it only updated 3-4 months or even 6 months once.

Another big concern is after sale service. I can simply reach out to Samsung service center in Malaysia to get genuine repair and parts... Does Honor has this? The phone is not cheap so after sale service is very important to me.

I bought samsung over other phone is because after sales service. I think they will continue to help you.

If you go to other brand, i think their service lagi teruk.

Service center is disconnected to samsung online chat. No relationship between both.

You just need to go back to SC to ask them fix for you.

I suggest you wait for other SC and see. Dont go back to the one gave you problem.

Try other SC. I remember I changed for my fold4... I can see some bubble .. i keep press it to make it stick. Then after few hours ... only fold it. And then after a day, the bubble at the edge gone after keep press and hold it gently.

after 1 yr, the SP give problem again. So I think each SP can last long about 12 months.

Use this phone with hinge protector, lost the identity already.

Best is keep it naked and use it carefully.

That's true. I picked fold6 due to the samsung software / AI ... and security patch every month. I trust samsung after sale service is good in Malaysia. And this time the design fold6 is really premium compared to other brands. Other than these, a bit hard for it to compete others...

I like Magic V3 got wider front screen. but inner screen is totally square, which i dont like. So nothing perfect.

The Fold6 owners like get betrayed by Samsung because spent so much money to buy ... after 2-3 months... something better came out.

Yes.. I am in trouble. I didnt click on any voucher and now want to replace SP .. no more... Really dissapointed.. why want customer to click banner only can claim. Make it by default warranty claim mah ... sigh

Make sure you change to other service center better. Because i replaced once and the SP can last long for 12 months before get the bubble again. I believe the SC you visited before not so expert.

At least you get it free. I didnt click on that banner ... got to pay rm80 if want to replace.

I called Authorized Service Center in Penang. I asked them if I dont get the free voucher with member click, how much I need to pay if I want to replace the inner screen protecter. They said rm80.

No no ... if you have 3x SP replacement voucher, means you can claim it 3 times free within warranty period. If you dont have, you need to pay rm80 for SP replacement including labor fee.

I understand your feeling. I also sipek dulan after they told me if I didnt click the voucher under member app, i got to pay for SP replacement. I told them like trick your customer.

The service center I went last time is at mainland Gravitas Business park. They replaced the SP for fold4 and last long for 1 yr before bubble appeared from the center crease again.

Then I trade in my fold4 to senheng, they even dont look at the bubble... check the frame and outer screen, and didnt run diagnostic test also, then take directly. Not like other compasia or UR ... check until eye came out.

I think Apple and Samsung phone still got trade in value... i am not sure other phone like oppo or xiaomi got trade in option or not. But I do agree that we keep replace the phone every year is very tiring sometimes ... need to find buyer from mudah, trade in price low ... I think we just want to save more money ... But I also notice some people just trade in like kacang ... rm1000 / rm2000 trade in price also accept.

now got to pay rm10 to get rm260 voucher. I wondering this voucher can be used for student offer purchase?
