QUOTE(NatalieRath @ Sep 24 2020, 08:35 AM) I love this device so far. So versatile. The case is BAD though. Aramid sucks Aramid caase to me it's functional. The fact that I can prop the Fold up with the kickstand without another stand is worth it enough for me. Until my case of choice (still on preorder phase, not shipping) is shipping, even that also I'm not pre-ordering because I'm wary of any case with front cover screen protection, since a lot of off-screen gestures from the side will be blocked by cases covering the front on the side. I'm gonna let others get it first and review it first before I even consider getting. The Aramid allows me to not to be overly cautious with handling the Fold, like when it's naked. That will help in gaining confidence when Im used to the Fold's weight with single hand handling. Doing lots of finger gymnastics and with the case on, I'm slowly but surely getting used to handling it even unfolded, with the added confidence of knowing the case is there at the back when I overly grip the Fold tightly. I am selling the Mont Blanc Urban Racing Spirit Pocket 5cc card holder as well.. I need to earn some money back. (T_T) So I'm in no hurry to get the perfect case, as long as there's a case to protect the Fold. Will wait for others to be the beta testers for all new cases coming out with review, I'm not gonna risk damaging my 8k phone just to be the first. I'm not gonna risk getting dubious protection from unknown casemaker brands either , its an 8k phone, the least you can do is get a case that's made by the manufacturer of the phone itself. Just my 2 Russian kopeks/2 sen opinion. |

I heard Spigen Tough Case not as good as UAG Civilian Armor. Spigen Tough Case for the first fold you need to PRESS the spine into the armor when you fold it. Got a big clack sound

Someone wanna take a look at the VRS Design case for Fold 2? I’m eyeing this intensely but I need confirmation that the front case doesn’t click edge swipes. If it does then I’m in. https://vrsdesign.com/collections/galaxy-z-fold-2-case Love the futuristic design. Making the Fold look like a device that comes from the future. NatalieRath liked this post

I am using with the Samsung leather back cover, but i think the leather for the Fold1 cover feels nicer as it has a textured soft feel, the Fold2 leather cover is hard and smooth...

Either way, I've only used UAG for all of my previous phones. Best protection for our pricey phones NatalieRath liked this post

While waiting for UAG, I am currently using this Shopee
The front screen cover is too thick and block me from swiping the top bar for notification a lot. Hopefully UAG or Spigen has thinner front cover bezels to make it more comfortable to use. |
