So I have received my 2nd Fold3 yesterday from DHL, basically is fast consider it collected by last Saturday. I just moved all my content to it, the inner screen definitely stronger(alot !) Compared to ZFold2, and the hinge is tighter too (30 to 40% tighter from my feeling. The speaker has more low but bit muffled on high, but both speaker now sound more balanced.


Anyone know how to set the fingerprints sensor to "always on" ? Mean no need to press power button to activate it.

quite hassle to unlock the phone if need to press it every time. Cant seems to find it at setting.

Yeah, thats why I ask. My Fold 3 require to press only able to unlock.

You need to put in the phone to try, if the camera ring higher than case mean yours is 1st batch.

This case is hard to put in, but if you remove the hinge and put both left and right first, will be more easy to put in.

You can use credit card or member card to remove the hinge cover, ply it from inside, essy and not scratch. The pen hinge is abit lose and seems to be abit easy to come off compare to normal hinge. I use normal hinge only btw, and the hinge is scratching the front cover when open and close, but I dont mind, as long as it protect the phone. It is quite good quality and robust, I didn't really take care my Silver Fold but it still look okay after 2 weeks.

Hi, the original case is not really bulky but the lose flap make me not want to use it (saw from YouTube). Btw, the ARAREE case is way better than original Samsung cover.

I would suggest Ararree Nukin 360P, slim and it cover the hinge, somemore it has extra spare hinge for S-Pen, I has used it with my previous Fold3, very stable and most important it don't scratch the phone body.

Just went Lowyat Plaza yesterday and compare it with Fold 3, seems to it is more refine now. But there is not much hype like last time.

It feel very obvious lighter in weight, and the hinge is noticeable smaller and slimmer. The folding feeling feel abit lose compare to Fold 3, the screen look wider but actually not so much. Front screen still feel cramp but still, alot better if you coming from say Fold 2 or the original Fold 1.

Maybe Fold 3 is still too great even after a year now, I see it is hard to get over to Fold 4 just because of weight and the Camera sensor (Fold 3 camera actually not bad !) . I tell my mind not to upgrade but the brain keep pushing me to do so, lol .

It is sad to see Samsung don't included screen protector anymore, their protector has very good attachment actually, at least it still attach after many month used, although it scratch badly. My previous Note 9 is good for 2 years before it peal off in corner after I drop it

It depend on limit for that model. I remember last year fold3 limit to 2pcs per customer, and you can buy 5 mobile phone, 2 tablets, 3 wearable, annually. it will renew everyyears

I was upgraded to Fold 3 from Note 10+ , here is my take :

When it folded, you will miss the simple and straightforward of Note 10 Plus, screen is bigger, and slimmer. Also, no need to baby it.

When it unfold, you will love how large the screen and how thin this tablet are. Everything just comfortable to work with, the 120hz is smooth in all operation.


Some App look weird due to aspect ratio, and also, split screen work great but still cramp if say compare to iPad Mini, because of the aspect ratio too. I would say if you saw any great discount, just go for Fold 3, save some money, it is not much different to Fold 4 actually, you can try to see if Folding phone suitable you or not.

Yes, shorten by say 15%, It is because I have to use inner screen more often.

I would say if you need more practical phone, folding phone is not suitable.
