Apple may not be the most innovative company.. but can't deny that most of their products are quite stable.

i went full apple eco system before coming back to Z Fold. Still using Airpods pro, Apple watch gave to waifu, Still using my mac, still have my ipad mini(now use for my kid since z fold mcm small tab) but i really miss Airdrop and the best hardware/software integration in apple ecosystem everything works well together with minimal input or setting from user. Maybe samsung have some kind of intergration but not as good as Apple i feel.

saw the 256GB Z Flip 3 is now RM2.8k on SenHeng

haven't been keeping up much with phones, is it worth getting this 2021 phone now ?

looking for a phone to replace my current Note 9 which is dying , was thinking to hold out until Fold 5 as I prefer bigger screen, big storage and long batt but might not be able to wait that long

So - so on S23 as can't find the 1TB version, (currently using 512GB + 512GB SD card)

Fold4 no stock apart from the 256GB.

So was looking at Flip 3 as a compromise to "upgrade" my Note 9 while waiting for new Fold ... which I hope will be less bulky

Better to wait for stock and get the 512GB than to compromise with the 256GB unless you have a budget constraint

Get a 512GB Flip 4 instead. Much better battery life than Flip 3. Though if you can wait.. getting a new Flip 5 or Fold 5 is suppose going to be better than the current lines.

Latest firmware update is available. Image clipper is now available on Fold. Not sure about z flip. Should be there too.

My fold 2 unable to FOLD flat anymore ( used to be 180 degree)
now 178 degrees

any idea how to solve this or any shop to recommend

Time to either replace new hinge or upgrade new Fold

not forgetting Fold 5 is coming soon too and cost more money every version up

This is what hold me back from folding screen

my Fold 4 died after 8 months of usage (from Sep 2022 till 21-May 2023)

Yesterday, when unfolded the phone, the inner screen refused to show its face. It showed  Black Face (blank screen). Intermittent it shows the screen (when its happy). Then later, totally blank screen.
later when try to use Camera in WhatApps, got "Warning. Camera failed." message. Tried direct Camera App, same error message.

Just now sent to 1U SC, the CS tried to connect to their WiFi in Maintenance Mode, got "Network Error. Unable to connect."

Front screen working fine.

i was thinking FOLD5 but to many people complaint
i see @peterscm he use fold4 after 8month easy death screen ??? 
fold is best but not handle easy death screen    like very fast problem

compare S23 Ultra no death can last 2-4year++ like that
i think fold can last 1 year below to death ?

Just got back my Fold 4.

To my surprise, SC also change the frame (FOC)   . I did ask the HQ Staff if I want to change the frame, how much does it cost. He said cannot change just the frame. If change then need to change the whole phone. I know the frame is new because there is plastic stick to the frame just like when I newly got the phone.

On the repair,  according to the technician, below items changed:
1. Motherboard
2. The inner screen
3. the two internal batteries

Camera not change as the error is caused by camera software   

He said about 90% of the phone changed. Now I got a almost NEW Fold 4.

Btw, for anyone want to send in their phone for service / repair, remember to turn on Maintenance Mode. By doing so your data most likely will be preserved. After you got back your phone then turn off Maintenance Mode.

I did that and now all my programs and data are still in place. No need to reinstall program again.

Yes

Today my flip 4 of barely 5 months decided to have screen prob
Top part have display but can't touch
Bottom part can touch but flickering and green flashes
Crease part all black bar
Bleeding on some area occur when pass to sc

Sc will claim warranty

But.... 5 mth... No drop or anything
Sc told me after claim fast fast trade in get a normal HP. They seen way too many screen issues w flip and fold

Pixel Fold no support in Malaysia.

So far, no regrets buying the Z Fold 4.
