If i buy in Sg Wang, they'll give warranty too? Anyone got experience in servicing their ps3 under warranty? Then what about the Play-Asia.com? Good? Does it comes with warranty too? Really wanna get one, but worried if spoiled...then die lar..

^ try contact Djiin at GH or Bernard at GS. maybe they can get SGP units from SGP distributors. if really spoil (chances are low) they can help send back to their distributor for RMA services.

Just went surfing on the net, and found out that no matter where (i.e. US or Aus or UK) you buy your ps3, it's all NTSC-J for PS2 and DVD. Is this true?

-2 ori game (can choose, but limited selection)
-no official warranty

Those who heard of RM1500 please double confirm what is in the package before really buying as it may not be the entire package. u may need to top up some $ to get the controllers or the game.

as for the 80GB model, my understanding is it is not 100% compatible with PS2 game. I know the 60GB model has built in PS2 graphic chip to enable playing of PS2 game. 80GB has no such chip but rely on emulation of PS3 chip to play PS2 game, thus may not be 100% compatible. But do note not all PS2 games are compatible with 60GB too, but mostly yes.

Added on September 24, 2007, 8:52 amNo PS3 exist officially in Msia market. ALL are parralel imports (meaning they are not officially imported/sold by Sony Malaysia). As long as the game shop import it, u can buy 80GB from them.
