You don't need to be too fixated on the HDMI 2.1 unless you are planning to use it as monitor right away .

In terms of picture quality , A9G is light years [like other self emissive screens are] ahead of X90H.

The 2.1, i am aiming for ps5. For watching movies, oled the best. I dont know why oled still bloody expensive.

Way back plasma and lcd doesnt have that much of price difference

You're right. That's the best time to buy for the past year model. If you don't mind also sometimes big retailers like Harvey or SenQ has their own display sets to let go at a very cheap price bundled together with a long extended warranty like 5-year coverage. For LED TVs usually it's a no brainer.

I found one shop recently to let go of their OLED C9 with screen hours of  4000+ lol. For LED LCD TVs who cares as long as you check prior to buying. But still the warranty is anew.

I hope so. Long term usage for x90h. Plan next is ps5 once the games going next gen end 2021 or 2022.

Do you found x90h 55 model, the cheapest i saw was ysl electronic...rm3599...12.12

U think the 55 inch is the sweet spot of the value proposition....around rm3.5k its very near to x75h and x80h edy....the 65 on the other hand you need ro topup like another 2.5k its almost half edy...dont get me wrong its still good peice rm5.7k but the 55 just offer a better value..

Space and distance of the living room. But i believe for 55inch, you should get an extra warranty. Electronic in an area i am working. Every year is cut cost cut cost program. Eventhough my company make billions net per year

Sorry for wrong quote. It is in kuala selangor forgot the names. I on my way to buy water heater. I just ask around not buy yet. I already ask other shop in bt caves, rm650 for 3years extended warranty and sony official is rm1070 for 5 years warranty. So it seem the price is too good to be true.

He said LG is better. Not sure is true or not. But logically vibration can make panel damage or broken.

Try to google but didn't find any complain regarding broken screen on sony TV

Every branded factory from china...same quality control.

Guys, just wanna ask usually in Malaysia when will they release this newly announced model? Sometime around March? I am planning to upgrade my 5 year old samsung 4k tv without HDR. Should i get the x900h now or wait for the new model? My main usage is PS5, netflix and youtube. Once in a while live football from my tv box.
*
It take a longer time... Once x90h hit bottom in sales. Then new one will take it place. X90h a good tv, after custom tune up, the picture is 90% look like oled.

Tt was announced back in March, only released in July? I don't think i can wait that long haha. How do you like your tv so far?
That's good to hear bro. Your tv usage is mostly on? Now I'm considering on which size should i get, either the 55 or 65 inch. Its for my bedroom, distance from my eye to the tv is about 7 -8.5 feet
*
Your budget must be a tv+5 years warranty. Dont trust tv maker nowadays. The quality is not like the old days.

Uh , no . Not even close .
I know what X90H is capable of ,  I have calibrated 3 units of this TV since last year .
People who said they look identical are none but who took a simple glance in the store .

You are literally comparing a LCD TV with 32 zones of light control with 8 millions individually-lit pixels .
Meaning ?  You have to divide the whole screen into 32 zones , any bright object which is smaller than 4% of the screen is going to cause blooming and thus reduced contrast and dynamic range surrounding the object.

Now consider both contrast and dynamic range are important factors in determining picture quality , LCD TV would need to reach at least 1000 cd/m2 - 1500 cd/m2  to achieve the same level of pop and dynamic range  .
Even when they do , there are plenty of issues such as blooming and bright uniformity issues due to current flawed implementation of FALD .
These effects are further alleviated when you in a dark room , where true black shows its " true colors " by melting into the backtround , giving you a sense of depth like no others .

Add in the fact that a large majority of the OLED TV came from the flagship series featuring the best anti reflective coating & best picture processing , comparing it with an OLED TV is simply unrealistic .
This is not to say X90H sucks and in fact it is one of the best mid-range LCD we have gotten in the past few years .
Let's just say X90H is in a very good spot for the bang of your bucks .
*
Technical you are the expertise. But when regular user sit and watch side by side. They probably notice minor difference such as i. The only things i notice is the black level between both oled and x90h.

You have to understand not all buyer cant differentiate picture quality and sound quality like an experts do.
