Change CPU to 3950X

Here's the thing about SFF builds, they're great when you use them as media center or HTPC.

Once you put in power hungry components, it gets hot then your parts will throttle and there wouldn't be a point to use those parts in the first place.

The SFF community is full of people who ask about thermals because everyone is tempted to pack as much performance as they can in the smallest packaging available.

Out of 10 questions in the SFF forum, 8 will be about thermals and noise.

As for 3950X, the smallest case that you can place it in with adequate cooling is the NCASE M1 which is 12L. This case is 4L in comparison. The threshold for a 3950X build would be in the Louqe Ghost S1 (8L) with a top hat because you will need that cooling capability

I know that you were joking, but I just needed a place to share my thoughts.

Didn't realize the Black Ridge can cool that well, it may be the missing piece I'm looking for because I can't find Asetek 645LT AIO nor Cryorig C7 CU edition locally.

Sorry can't give you any improvement advice.

What if I told you that theres a community that just builds gaming PCs because they enjoy the process and spend more time in benchmarks than they do playing games?

With the amount of players and interest that Dota has, those people you describe are doing the enthusiasts a favor.

The cpu cooler clearance is 47mm and this black ridge is also 47mm but it is not the only one that is that tall.

The other ones are cryorig c7 and axp-90.

Thanks guys, looks like there isn't much choice for coolers and limit is 47mm for K39V2 case.
