QUOTE(Doggystyle @ Oct 27 2007, 11:42 AM) You get max of 65c on 3.2 OC? I must be seriously messing up somewhere. Perhaps I should remove the hsf and reapply AS5 again. another thing you must note that 65c was taken when ambient was 25c. your ambient + casing alone could influence the temperature variance gap. |

changed mobo to ASUS P5K-E.
not as easy to OC as on Biostar TP35D2-A7. on the A7, just change BUS speed and that's it. this one ah. aihh. doesn't seem to be stable if i do just that. so have to adjust Vcore / Vdimm. not sure if that's the cause but it certainly helps. aihhh..... |

those with stock cooling and over 3Ghz, kindly take care.
I tried before. Stock cooler, 25c ambient temp still ok. once I off my air-con and leave the system in the room with warmer temps. sorry la, no hope for doing Folding@Home on both cores. Added on November 28, 2007, 4:16 am QUOTE(Shoot@M3 @ Nov 28 2007, 01:00 AM) Not bad yes. idle that time it's around that temp. Mine's @ 3.33GHz stock cooling and no add Vcore Not running super PI but @ around 50'C idle I think 55'C is still ok load that time it goes beyond 70c easily.
