QUOTE(huh? @ Dec 15 2007, 05:21 PM) depends what are your load temps like, but to be on the safe side, 5~10% of the stock vcore is considered safe for aircooling.QUOTE(Without @ Dec 15 2007, 07:03 PM) I can run stock 3.2ghz with e2160 but always got vdrop.. Idle temp around 25-29 while 3.4ghz idle temp 29-32 with 1.45core.. DFI not really like e2160.. must use modded bios else the memory divider goes crazy... of course there will be a slight vdroop no matter on what intel based boards mar.. unless if you have the option to turn it off or mod the board...what cooler are you using anyway? ehh, anyone got the feedback from my 1.5v theory after looking at the datasheet as well as spec finder that the chip can tahan up to 1.5v anot? |

when u mount the cooler, it has 4 pins right
1 3 2 4 imagine the above numbers are the pins, press down onto 1, then 4, then 3 then 2, to make an X pattern so the pressure is even |

forgot to mention, press down a little bit on each point, but repeat it a few times, so that u dont risk damaging the cpu

the clips are designed to take vertical stress/pressure, not horizontal
thats why if you bend it a little and press it down it will break. |

QUOTE(rozz_1291 @ Jan 15 2008, 11:10 PM) Aiyaa.... Nola, not all can do that, only good ones, or painstakingly handpicked units like a1098113's E2140 QUOTE(lichyetan @ Jan 15 2008, 11:29 PM) OCing is an art, not many can draw it properly with grace and elegance lolz This post has been edited by bryanyeo87: Jan 15 2008, 11:42 PM |

QUOTE(GRexer @ Jan 17 2008, 01:22 AM) Nope, i just use regular "super glue", just a slightly dab/drop of it and it'll stick the foil in place. I'm hesistant about using AS as it's still slightly conductive and i don't want "accidents" to happen. Might have figured out a way to do the BSEL mod which is much easier compared to this one, but only for 200-->266, will try and report back. how about car defogger kits?probably can get one from the brothers outlet in kelana jaya? |
