depends sometimes the temps kill the proce even before the volts do

Normally via chipsets are not for ocing :S, you may try with clockgen to pump fsb
and turn off C1E and EIST in bios

Use 1024 fft and 64 fft, let the cpu burn in first
err...you sure you got the settings correct anot? abit high for a L2 stepping...maybe possible to lower the volts if some settings are changed



just make sure you up the correct one (NB) and not the (SB) and have active or good cooling on the NB

Look for Hynix FPy5 Rev C and on that same line there will be a batch code of 4 or 5 digits mix with alphabets, look for the following batches:

712A
714A Best of these 4 batches
714AA
704AA

Might be more better batches, but these are personally tested and 714A does 1066 5-6-5-15 1T with only 2.05v

Make sure you get 2 identical batch coded sticks for best oc potential and stability

or another possible reason is a "open bench" setup or a good casing airflow

not neccesarily, because at 1.87v, its probaly dead by now

pls go and set the voltage to stock volts as listed at the bios, dont use auto, as it might unnecessarily overvolt the cpu

Core temp shows the hottest part of the core (basically on top of it la), whereas easy tune 5 shows the middle of the core and the temp will always be lower


G33 is shit for ocing due to the integrated gfx, at least compared to full fledged p35 boards la

At the bios menu press ctrl +F1 to bring up a special menu
Set the ram timings to your rated ram speed

change PCI Express Frequency (Mhz) [AUTO] to 100

regarding waht you posted at #389, do you have eist or c1E enabled, if so then it was NOR underclocking its the power saving feature.

NOR was a typo for NOT

urm, it should be under power management or intgrated peripharals, its EIST (enhanced Intel Speedstep Tech) and C1E (same like c1E but Enhanced) turn those 2 off and try to oc it again
