Maybe Vista doesn't fully support C & C 3.

hey guys did you receive a carrying case?
*
I upgraded to Dell Nylon backpack and the quality of the backpack is reasonable.

Why you used? Yours doesn't come with a carrying case?

i remember that day i did not click on it but how come it's in the list?
*
Only 1720 didn't come with case in the standard web configuration.

1420 and 1520 come with some standard carrying case. I upgraded this case to a Nylon backpack.

I have no idea on this carrying case and backpack issue. When I ordered my 1520, it did include and I just pay RM 17 to change from a Dell Nylon Carrying Case to a Dell Nylon Backpack.

How is the backpack? Is it a Targus or Dell? Even it's another brand, ppl nowadays knows laptop backpack brands and they would still snatch it. Better to get other brands....less obvious.
*
Dell offers both and of course Targus brand is more expensive. biggrin.gif

I've called Dell and Microsoft

Dell said they are working on the XP drivers

Microsoft said I can legally downgrade to XP Pro cause I have Vista Business. Just take any XP Pro CD and install it. So I took a Dell XP Pro CD and installed it. It didn't prompt for product key

The drivers are not from the 1520 Dell Driver page, but for other models. I've tested all the list mentioned above and it is working fine. Will provide the links later on

If you are desperate, just google the driver based on the number (e.g R153997)

Wow ... this is so great. Only applicable to Vista Business? Vista Home Basic and Premium are not able to do so I assumed?

My Premium is referring to Home Premium. Not Vista Ultimate. Maybe you mistakenly thought Vista Ultimate as Vista Premium.

Is there a version called Vista Premium? Vista Ultimate is greater than Vista Business.

I found out that Dell Complete Cover Plan had changed name to DellCare. Also, price is more expensive than the previous plan. I think it had happened right after PC Fair promotion ends.

Can someone verify this? If it is true, that's mean I need to bring down some specs to fit my budget. Hai...
*
Any extra coverage for the price increase?

tslim2531, your LCD problem looks serious. Send those pictures to Dell Tech Support and ask them if it's normal.

I think you'll be enjoying the improvement only if the access point is running in Wireless 802.11n mode. Otherwise, you won't gain anything.

As I said earlier, Wireless 802.11n is improving WLAN coverage and speed by offerring MIMO.

Wimax is IEEE 802.16. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WiMAX

GC NVIDIA GeForceTM Go 8400M GS with 128MB dedicated GDDR3 graphics memory.

How is the quality?
*
It comes only with GDDR2. That's a typo or misleading clause.

Quality is definitely better than Intel GMA X1300.
