have stop using shopee - it is like no longer attractive to use, price inflated like crazy!

Does QR transactions earn Mesra points?

Also, are you able to pay via Setel at 99, Hero etc?

Not just Shopee 🤦‍♀️ everything is inflated thanks to Bidenomics

From my experience,

1. DN QR yes, rm5=1mp (accumulated). let say 1st transaction u pay rm2=0mp, 2nd transaction u pay rm3=1mp.
2. So far i try at VG, Mydin, Lotus and earned x3mp per rm1 (current promo)

Is there any documentation on the number of Mesra points per type of transaction? Example, I can't find the points rate on their website for QR payments.

Is it fair to say, the x3 Mesra Points is for all transactions where they scan barcode?

X3 till 14/7/23 only.

Setel gives Mesra Point for Duitnow QR transactions as a "launching" reward. I believe Setel will cease to give Mesra Points soon, except transactions at Petronas.

Where to see list of eligible merchants? I tried to pay using Setel at HeroMarket (they scan me, both barcode and QR) and it failed. I thought it use the same way like Tng Ewallet and Grabpay (scan on barcode), but looks like needs separate configuration with merchants.

Edit: When you pay at VG, Mydin, Lotus...did they scan you (QR or barcode), or you scan them (QR)?

Edit 2: I tried checking the merchant listing on their website, there is no VG, Mydin, and Lotus. How do you know you can pay there?

This is the latest among the "big stores" which have enabled Setel Pay. I can confirm that Setel Pay has to be manually configured for each different merchant. I'm just waiting for 99 Speedmart and HeroMarket, do most of my shopping here.

Also, Setel Pay works with ALL Duitnow QR codes (where I scan a physical standee) based on my testing today.

Is it possible to earn Mesra points when pump petrol at Petronas using automated-fuel dispenser, with a physical card + digital Mesra card on Setel?

Also, for Setel CardTerus, how are Petronas vs non-Petronas transactions distinguished? The transaction detail on the credit card just says "SETEL SELANGOR MYS". All I did was added the Citibank Cashback card to my Setel profile, and then paid directly for fuel. Did I miss any steps?

One more question, about Mesra membership tier.

1) Once you hit 100 points in the first month, do you automatically level up and start earning at the next level in that same month, or only at the next month?

2) Let's assume Month 1 I earned 500 Mesra points. In month 2, I transacted very less, will I still earn the Mesra points at Level 3, or Level 1?

anyone here try pump petrol with setel card terus with maybank ikhwan petronas? Will get cb from the card? or this strictly work on the cc card listed only?

CB for Petronas station only (PS/PSS).
Setel CardTerus is not a Petronas station.

When I tried to be sneaky and funny, I tried CardTerus to pay DNQRs. At last I did not get any CB or watsoever from my CC's bank because they see CardTerus transactions as Petrol MCC which my card is not awarding me any points for Petrol MCC transactions.

Sorry, I mean the maybank islamic ikhwan that has 5 % for petrol and groceries. Not the one specific only for Maybank petronas.

Most likely you will get 5% CB for using Setel CardTerus to pump petrol at Petronas stations. (MCC5541 as at Oct 2020, now not sure)
