I used my Note 10+ mostly for Dex. Even bought a portable monitor, PD power bank, cables and BT keyboard plus mouse combo. Everything will fit into a Bosch L-Boxx case.

The buds+ so far quite satisfying but if the bass was deeper it would have been perfect for me haha.

I used to think the unusual battery drain was an inherent Android problem too, but over the years there has been significant improvement in Android including restricting data consumption of background apps and putting unused apps to sleep, and that has helped greatly with the standby battery performance. My ownership of many Android phones (especially Samsung ones) seemed to point me to the Exynos and Samsung UI, but now that I've used the S10 Lite with a SD855 for more than a month now, I can narrow it further to the Exynos being the culprit. But that's my personal view, I have no scientific evidence, only experience

That said, for you to drain the Note 10+ battery from 100 to 0 in 8 hours is pretty heavy usage! In such a short span of time you'd probably be doing 6 hours SOT or more?

i think using data or power hungry apps like douyin( china tiktok) do reduce the battery life.

Also your power efficiency will decrease substantially when you're on 4G or mobile data vs WiFi. But your usage and standby drain above sounds about right

i suspected that too. as others pointed out and it was not just me. so yeah, exynos is the actual culprit. is it true for exynos the usage of battery is better compare to sd ? was it usage or standby? lol

Usage wise I think about the same, but standby is where the SD truly shines. Anyways, yeah, because you need the S-Pen it's difficult to recommend you an alternative for your next phone. Hopefully they'll also put a 5000mAh battery in the next Note to fulfill your needs

but yeah, a 5000mAh is the right one for me. so just see what's the store for Note20. Techtv did spoiled saying that the next N series will emphasize more on the s-pen and the badnews is downgrade the storage follow S20.

exynos optimization sucks big time. when i compile my own kernel for my exynos tablet last time, the battery can tahan longer than using normal samsung konon2 optimize kernel. but nowadays since its harder to root and i really like some of the function end up no longer rooting and make custom firmware.
