Besides these 2 tyres, I highly recommend you to get Goodyear ATM2.

Michelin tyres are overpriced due to the heavy marketing.

CC6 although comfort but quite dangerous in the wet especially during highway drive.

How long have you used your XM2? Heard that this tyre can last really long but it’s more noisier.

You agree with other reviews saying that cc6 easy to get bulge and tyre too soft?

Previously I've used XM2. When it's new, very nice comfy and quiet feeling. After 2 years, the tyre became harder and a lot noisier.

Imagine going through rumble stripes, the whole car will shake like mad.

Now I am on CC6. Been using it for 2 years already and it's still soft, comfy and quiet. Going through the same rumble stripes is not an issue as the tyre will absorb most of the impact.

As I seldom drive fast, I'll still to CC6 since it offers comfort and noise level much better than XM2.

If you want more of a budget performance, then XM2+ may suit you.

Not sure but it seems like CC6 is the best option overall, not much option for tyre with this size.

XM2+ can last longer but was much harder hence sacrificing comfort.

CC6 may not perform as well as XM2+ but it has better comfort, I don’t drive my car to the limit or very very fast so it shouldn’t be a problem. At least it’s much better than the Silverstone that comes with the car when I bought it new.

I had been on XM2 then CC6. After 20k km XM2 is noisy and hard.

CC6 is good, much more comfortable and quieter. I didn't experienced any grip problem also. 110km/h cornering on highway during heavy rain also ok. Maybe my car is heavy, 1200kg Prius C.

Just my tires lifespan generally short, around 40k km only reach minimum thread. Can't imagine you guys with 100k km. Wow

My experience is the same as you.. moving from xm2 to cc6. XM2 is more expensive, harder and not as comfortable than cc6 although thread wear can last a lot longer. Grip wise, xm2 is better but if you are not into spirited driving, CC6 does its job as intended.

I will take CC6 anytime over the XM2 because it offers better overall package in terms of price, comfort and quietness.

Conclusion, CC6 is an uncle tyre for drivers who wants comfort, and silent.

XM2 are for those who wants branding, slight better grip, longer threar wear and don't mind sacrificing comfort and road noise.
