Maybe it is MAXIS problem.

My SAMSUNG Galaxy A70 and Galaxy A20s with Snapdragon chip, when put in MAXIS into the phones, also get 1-3 bar 4G in my house.

But U Mobile can get 3-4 bar 4G in my house.

Then I must be lucky to have great reception all the time.  Haha..

How do you explain that those users without line reception problems?

They are also using the same Telcos as you mentioned but just with different locations only.

Yesterday:
My Ultra off hook from power source ~7.30am and able to sustain until ~12am for ~16.5 hours with ~5 hrs SOT,  120Hz, 3 bars 4G, WIFI (>6pm), work emails cont receive, surfing, FB, Whatsapp, few camera shot etc.

Today:
Sustain for 8.5 hrs since 6am with ~1.5 hrs SOT, 120Hz, 3 bar 4G, work emails cont receive, Whatsapp, minor FB etc and left ~70% battery.

Overall, still feel acceptable for my usage which very close to my initial N10+.

It's the HOPE that Samsung is able to improve in next version. Sadly, it just justify the price we paid especially the s20 ultra. Signal and battery performance is under perform.

That's individual perception on the usage that it is 'under performed'. Or rather is one 's over high perception to justify the money paid for the phone. Signal and bat performance is very subjective in my opinion.

same here..been holding on with S10+ currently, was quite tempted to go for S20 Ulta..but after reading reviews on the new SoC (Exynos)..maybe need to stick with S10+ for now..btw, S10+ battery idling is quite terrible to be honest.. overnight with AOD on drained almost 10%.. dunno what to say la.. brightness around 35%, HD+, all black screen, Night Mode on, wifi off, BT off, gps off, most apps being put to sleep..it still happened..memang chip problem...lol

i saw in gsm arena there's a good midranger from Samsung, M30s..battery 6000mah, exynos 9611..quite power efficient chip..but need to confirmed la..hehe

Mi9T Pro and OP7T both are below 2K already for AP set. Better choose these than opt to midranger.

I totally agree with the reviewer. The battery life is just disappointing for a premium phone with a claimed large battery. Really fortunate to be able to sell off mine albeit at a loss as I foresee next month the price gonna drop even below $4k for the Ultra as times are really bad now and it’s not easy to sell a premium second hand product at a premium price. Gone back to my P30 pro now awhile waiting for the Note 20.

The reason why I skipped s20 series this time. I used both note 10+ exynos and sd before and I can never go back to exynos. Plus now I’m spoiled by this 8 hour SOT with half battery tank left.
