I guess that's the way. But import phone warranty how ya? Like AP phone those days? Only the shop can fix it?

Note 10+?

How many hours screen time are you doing for it to die at 5pm la bro?
*
coming to work by 9am already 85%. this is watching utube all the way. then i browse the nett do some fb and all by lunch its already 65%. i do shoot email once a while from my phone too if very productive. then take note here and there without non stop browsing the nett. By 3pm, the phone goes down to 33%. continue some more by 5pm it will reach 5%. This is on HD. couple with the slowpoke signal strength, i bet thats the actual culprit.

I always buy my phone from T&L Telecom.
I am not afraid to buy import set for 1 reason - you have 7 days to thoroughly test your device and if it is lemon, you CAN return the phone for replacement or refund.

In ~5 years that I bought from them, I have never had any issues whatsoever.

Local after service is only important IF you are the clumsy type.

Why do I prefer buying from T&L? Simple. Phones are cheaper and they sell units which are not locally sold here in MY (Samsung Snapdragon units, other OEMs, etc)
*
i see. this is great option. will put them in my list. Incase Note20 pre-order turns sour, i know what to do.

how much cheaper though?

Last time I bought import set for my Huawei Mate 9, the warranty itself is covers by the seller instead of Samsung Worldwide store.
So lets say I bought an AP set from DirectD, when I want to claim warranty, I can only goes back to Directd and not Samsung Malaysia Store.

But do only buy from well known AP Stores like DirectD, Brightstar etc as they provide better repairs and services
*
Directd is realiable. i bought 4 phones from them, but all noob, midrange phone so maybe that doesn't count.

But good advise bro.

Yeah, I can imagine. Many reviewers did comment that the battery life isn't adequate for power users, I guess you're one of those! biggrin.gif
*
i want to try again actually if maybe what im doing was totally irrelevant to what Samsung describe as Power Users.

So next week, i will up the display to the full WQHD+, then on AOD.

Good thing about Samsung is, even the Android 11 are copying its feature of one ui 2.0. so this is my best bet after the perfect smartphones.

After testing s10 lite i really love the one ui 2 haha. Feel very smooth, the gestures is smooth compared to huawei, realme and asus. Very close to 1+. I hope the s20 ultra would be the same smoothness.  rclxm9.gif

i never tried one plus. something about it i do not like and i can't describe it. hahahaha

Tbh oneplus ui probably the best in terms of smoothness among android.
Used to have oneplus one before switching to s7 edge and was surprised to feel the s7 edge a bit "sluggish" compared to the oneplus sweat.gif but of course oneplus drawbacks is that they can't seem to get the camera right.
Now on Samsung train since s7 edge broke change to note 9 and now waiting for s20 ultra biggrin.gif probably will switch to other brand after s20 ultra.
*
maybe coz i did had experience the fluidity last time with moto x.. but yeah, i know Oxygen is very fast. Maybe just branding thing laugh.gif

MKBHD review is up!

I'm quite sad that the S20U camera doesn't beat Iphone 11 max pro.

Already pre ordered, I might use this phone just for a year..
*
Yeah im surprised too. This means pro max is still the king.

iPhone will always be king in videography.
Even compared my Note10+, I love the video taken from my iPhone 11.
That is only iPhone 11, not the Pro one.
*
Im not so sure that is still the case when compared to Sony 1 II.

But yeah, video wise, my wife ip11 trumps my n10plus also.

i kinda expected when bitebug said the reception is performing below the standard. Samsung did not fix anything on this since the n10 plus. what a let down. Im so disappointed as this will be the same for coming Note 20.
