Not really, S001 was comparable to PS3, not even as good too! S007A is supposed to go up against PS4S though but not sure how good is it.

That first photo is RE003 not RE004. AD08R is a lot more expensive though. On what car do you use them and how do you find them in the wet? I also have just switched from RE003 to AD08R but not yet got chance to try in heavy rain. Dry is of course much better than RE003.

So how is your experience after the raining days?
I love the steering response in the corners. The best tyres for corners.

Still haven't gone out much in the wet coz still WFH. Lol Have gone thru some wet roads but no puddles, seems ok and no drama yet. Yes in the dry it's very good and very sharp steering.

Just had an opportunity to drive an Ek9 with AD08R climbing up genting in wet and slippery road conditions. The handling and grip is slightly below PS4, that gives you the rough idea.

Ic, I think it will struggle more in heavy rain with water puddles.

It would be disappointing bec ps3 is such old technology by now and re004 still cant aquaplane well.

But PS3 was so good at that 1 aspect. You can see it has many big water channels there, but consequently sacrificing a bit of the dry performance, that's the complaints of people coming from PS2 when they tried PS3. Probably RE004 is also not designed to focus on that so Bridgestone purposely designed it more closer to Extreme category where they all never that good in aquaplaning resistance to improve dry grip. The main question is how RE004 dry performance compares to the newer PS4. If it can outperform PS4 in the dry then it's not so bad but if it also still lose to PS4 in the dry then it's rather disappointing.
