QUOTE(Jedi @ Jan 29 2021, 07:07 AM) I havent reach 10k km as it is also covid now so i cannot comment on TW but I think it will be similar to re003 as they are both A rated. My last 003 tyres lasted 40k km. Soke enthusiast 30k km if extreme corner without brakes all time or genting runs weekly Slight correction, A is the wet traction rating for. TW is 220 for both, so should last roughly similar.

Ex: TW300 on bridgestone is different with TW300 on Michellin.

Today change my Year 2016 RE003 Drive until koyak (outside layer)...dont know why. No unusual happening also I often (1-3 / month) visually inspect also can become like that...because this is on the inside of the tire so visually couldnt spot 2 tires of 4 like that eventhough outside thread look still acceptable for daily use but inside part hard to see My mom recent 5yrs old tire also replaced with new because our hot climate if car under d sun 5 yrs is max if you value your life. Threads still good but 5yrs tire show signs of 'wrinkle' like dryness on the edge of the tire is waiting for due time so for those who drive tire more than 5 years I srsly salute you. But i think im extremely lucky... So this experience I feel want to say Bridgestone Tire damn good quality that drive 120kmph with this unknowing condition but didnt burst but 10yrs tire? 6 yrs also I dont push my luck This post has been edited by wayfeel: Feb 28 2021, 05:15 PM Attached thumbnail(s)

QUOTE(Jay Chua CC @ Feb 3 2021, 12:42 PM) Wears out pretty fast. If not because of Covid & MCO, I would say that this tire only last about a year plus, about 25k km. Not worth the price. First & the last time for me with this tyre.

It should finish even faster than TR1. So yeah, you want longer lasting one then get something with TW 300 or above like PS4 or F1S. This post has been edited by 6UE5T: Feb 9 2021, 11:17 AM

Anyway, whats your recommendation for 15inch size? priority on comfort and handling too. too bad primacy is not available for 15

The tread pattern on the TR1 also really looks odd to me. 15 inch I'd only consider PS3, RE004, or if cheap one I'd want to try Maxxis I-Pro cuz never tried before but seems decent reviews and very good price. Best balance between comfort and handling is still PS3. (Last time was V12E2.) This post has been edited by 6UE5T: Feb 9 2021, 12:20 PM

I'm currently on 15" RE004. So far dry/wet grip and handling is superb but a bit noisy. Comparing to previous PS3, it was more balanced of both comfort and handling (as mentioned by another comment) as well as quieter ride. The only drawback of PS3 was the easily chipped rubber.

For the noise is the re003/4 much higher compared to ps3?

CPC6 which is not offered here. Maybe try MC6 instead. UC6 is same level as XM2/Primacy. Noise, I am not the right person to ask this cuz I don't care much about tire noise! 😅 PS3 definitely should be more silent though.

UC6 is entry level tyre only with acoustics as its only good point, not usable in wet despite the brand name. The conti equivalent will probably be SportContact range (CSC) in MY, this is on conti MY website and also all over shopee so it should be available in MY. Which CSC# to get, probably depends on your rim size.

I thought want to change my spare car tires since tires were manufactured in 2015. I did checked on Continental website and they seem to guarantee their tires will last 10 years. So far it is still holding up fine after almost 20k mileage.

There was typo there But in honesty, i changed my mom low mileage 2016 HRV factory Yokohama Blue Earth tires also 17''...4.5yrs car 28K km but oredy show visual signs of dry n crack in the tires edges.....thread still alot . Car always park indoor no sun dry parking also premature 5 yrs also the compound dried up . This is yokohama not china. We didnt want to take d risk and changed all four tires...which was around rm1.2K for 4tires after 4.5yrs use. Low mileage 5 yrs tires still want jimat 6-10yrs.....no thank you for me. But im not to judge.
