QUOTE(Singh93 @ Jan 2 2022, 05:28 PM) What if I have Maxis fiber pole and TM fiber pole, still need transfer request? Maxis whatsapp unable to answer this. Haha this part is tricky. But if you do have the intention to switch, why not try to register for Maxis fibre. If they can install Maxis fibre without you do switching, then you only go to terminate Unifi after Maxis installation. Singh93 liked this post

Actually switching will save you some amount of ringgit since Maxis do offer penalty payments. |

QUOTE(shen1716 @ Mar 12 2022, 04:04 PM) If they follow previous promotion, switch from UniFi to Maxis free first 6 months. If new registration, discount RM20 for 24 months. Singh93 liked this post

QUOTE(BlackBananaV6 @ Mar 15 2022, 12:14 PM) Just came back, I went with Celcom Fibre, RM100 monthly for 100mbps since I am already with their mobile services. Ya, most telco have own discount when you pair your postpaid with fibre. Not bad RM100 for 100mbps. Quite similar to Unifi RM99 for Staywithunifi plan. |

Completed migration to Celcom Fibre, we continue using the TM modem (I was told that this device has lifetime warranty, if defective, TM will replace it at no cost). The Celcom's installer came with brand new Wifi 6 router (free). Speed still the same as before (while with Unifi). |

Maxis cannot "help" to transfer directly because it need permission from TM to release the port. First you need to check with TM if there is penalty for transfer or termination. If no penalty, go through the usual process for registration with Maxis and submit transfer ID to TM. |

QUOTE(sam240 @ Apr 6 2022, 12:40 AM) Anyone transfer from Unifi "Try Me Broadband" package to Maxis Fiber? Will get any penalty or not if ask Maxis help to transfer directly? Unlike Maxis and Digi, TM actually stated in the tnc that termination fees will be based on remaining months of the contract. Therefore you better check if you are still under contract with Unifi before doing so. |
