Hi, i am new to IPF.

https://www.opusasset.com/products/unit-tru...fund/#tab-price
From above link, the total distribution for year 2020 is 3.95sen/unit.
Assume current year also give same distribution amount and current price is 1.0309/unit.
So the yield is around 3.8%
Am i right?

dividend for unit trust or bond fund doesnt really mean anything. after the distribution, the NAV will drop also.

Based on my record, 25/3/2020 = RM1.0302, 24/3/2020 = RM1.0314
In between got 3 distributions, RM0.01 + RM0.012 + RM0.0095 = RM0.0315, so means today value should be RM1.0629 if no distribution given out.
Based on the calculation will be 3.17% over 1 year

It is because a lot are using credit card limits to put into MMF which is why banks are clamping down as part of their risk management

yup, mmf is super low risk, but they like to make it sound that way.

only in malaysia. just like previously when one of the politician was detained, it was said it was to protect that person from others. yeah right.

Because the actual underlying money is not real money but borrowed credit from the banks hence which is why it is for risk management purposes from the lender

MMF are low risk but when unsecured high risk funds is 8n then it will jeopardise the risk rating and subsequent cause fund to be unstable

it still doesn't make sense why boost want to bother where we spend, it should be the credit card company's concern
