Question:
1. i just now press redemption and i see need 10 calendar day to take money back? Is this true? 2. Why this opus not like other plaform that got 'switch' button, this one can only do redemption and send to your bank account? ![]() |

QUOTE(funboy555 @ Jul 24 2020, 09:17 AM) Total agree with T231H, MNet comment is so misleading and confusing. It is always back to % of holdings and % of performance. Can you share a little bit on which fund is kena default drop till gila gila? Or totally become zero value? If a 24 million fund had a high potential default bond exposure of 2.4 million (10%), as compare to a bond fund which has 240 million fund size but 48 million (20%) exposure of potential default bond, what is the impact? Fund size does matter, I agree with that, but still back to underlying assets that they invest into. Is a bit unfair to keep commenting about defaulting bonds while you can't provide actual facts that is there really defaulted bond in it? I think earlier also i highlighted look at the credit profile in fund fact sheet, it will give u a better view how is the quality of the bonds are and what exposure is it in the funds. |

QUOTE(tan_aniki @ Jul 27 2020, 11:23 AM) i give u an example over a Thursday two weeks ago which is 16/7: dont mean to redeem it out and leave it inside my bank over weekend and deposit it again on monday, that would be crazy and too free 16/7 NAV = RM1.0816 17/7 NAV = RM1.0829 20/7 NAV = RM1.084 if you wish to store inside your bank over the weekend, you need to redeem on 16/7 and get the money into your bank. let's say you got RM100k worth of units inside opus. over the weekend it has increase RM240, which means u need RM60/day interest over 4 days 60/100000*365=21.9% unless u got a bank that give u 21.9% pa interest, then you are free to do so let's get another example: 09/7 NAV = RM1.08 10/7 NAV = RM1.0802 13/7 NAV = RM1.0803 over the weekend increase RM30, which means RM7.50/day over 4 days 7.5/100000*365=2.7375% more of understanding how money goes into opus and when it will reflect |

QUOTE(tan_aniki @ Jul 27 2020, 11:51 AM) ya, but if you put into opus on Friday and got RM150 extra cash (based on RM1.084-RM1.0829) rather than RM50/day over 3 days in the bank (still a crazy 18.25% pa), it still worth to dump in on Friday there is a word in hokkie say "not everyday is sunday"means not everyday it will go up it will come down also ma anyway i still new to this OPUS just weekly 1k until 10k saja then stop and see see look look before commit any further some FD maturing over in middle of August so if things looks good in OPUS will put more till 50k |
