With 2024 Le Tour de Langkawi set to take place from September 29 to October 6 featuring routes across various districts in the peninsula and Sarawak, Selangor will see several roads closed between October 2 and 3.

The closures will involve the Hulu Selangor, Ampang, and Kajang districts, with the route in the state spanning a distance of 90.4km, said Selangor police chief Datuk Hussein Omar Khan.

The Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department will implement road closures and divert all types of vehicles in accordance with the race schedule.

These measures aim to facilitate traffic flow, enhance safety in areas affected by the event, and ensure a smooth and safe event, he said in a statement today.

The fourth stage of the championship will commence at Dataran Pekan Hulu Selangor and conclude in Bentong, Pahang, on October 2 (Wednesday) at 12pm.

The route for this stage will include Jalan Dato Muda Jaafar – Jalan Rasathurai – Jalan Mat Kilau – Jalan Merdeka – Jalan Syed Mansor – Jalan KL/Tg Malim – Jalan Ampang Pechah – Jalan Kuala Kubu / Fraser Hill – Empangan Sg Selangor.

Following this, the fifth stage will take place on October 2024 3 at 11am, beginning at KLCC and traversing through the Ampang and Kajang districts.

The route for this stage will be Jalan Ampang – Jalan Taman Putra – Jalan Hulu Langat – Jalan Bukit Ampang Menara Tinjau – Jalan Sungai Tekali – Jalan Bukit Hantu – Jalan Sungai Lalang – Jalan Semenyih – Jalan Tasik Kesuma – Jalan Beranang.
