QUOTE(andrewhtf @ Jan 13 2021, 05:47 PM) lol u guys didnt get the potshot i was aiming at reed90 ka? Good bro...I pusing until boring many round...but it's ok. Law abiding citizen. Tromorow try to explore diff routes or lorongs ok lah just be serious once, the rule says no travel exceeding 10km from house, but didnt say 10km radius or 10km by road distance so the interpretation would subject to the officer down at the field. as the chief said yesterday, "budi bicara". so just to avoid having to argue, i would just ride near my house and do repeated loops. i could do 20kms for a single loop within 10km radius from home. so repeated loops, wan do century ride pun boleh. mau takmau saja. afaik there is no time limit for sports activity, probably i am not aware of it because i dint really read into the guidlines. the limitations to 8pm is for businesses i think. |

QUOTE(geno @ Mar 3 2021, 05:26 PM) IMO Trek emonda sl has good value as it comes with carbon wheels if im not wrong. Yeah. The bontrager wheels review seems to be good and comes with ultegra di2 all for 20xxx rmIf were to nitpick.. my thoughts is the cable integration is quite messy. i.e. the cable from bars to the headtube are exposed unless u go for the carbon integrated bars which cost alot. Also the geometry is quite dated imo, high seatstays gives a slightly harsher ride. the seat post is the seat mast type.. quite prone to creaking. I asked them if shipping is possible but then I have to assemble it myself ( am ok with the minor stuff but am not a custom to disk brakes on the rb( I know mtb disk and am not familiar with bleeding the brakes If I have to). Plus it's 20k we are talking about. With the recent jnt fiasco...don't wanna risk it. I can wait...not in a hurry ...but only difficulty is when I can go to penang to collect it...vs local bike store in kl which I only know cycology ( and it's a 4k premium vs getting it from penang). This is also another part I can't understand why so much diff when spec is the same Not rich but I don't want to just waste money like that. |

QUOTE(ijan @ Mar 19 2021, 02:38 PM) okay sifoo, mahu tanya wastefull Q I use ciplak oakley sutros before.....and wife bought original sutro with road lens. I can tell you ...the differ nice is freaking huge. The road lense make the road look super clear in day. Like better contrast and you can see every detail clearer. The difference in rain is even more significant especially puddled water beli glasses for cycling, perlu ka beli original? ori - eksen sendiri , self confidence, better optics, better feel, bank account less money, kalau jatuh menangis. ~RM600 for Sutro Lite/S fake - jatuh tak kesah, scratch x kesah, no uv protection because its only painted polycarbonate, sharp edges etc etc, cheaper a lot ~RM50, boleh buy 2, one for day, one for early morning/night ride I dont mind spending, tp sayang juga kalau jatuh or itu machiem. And all these time x pakai pun, ada la those ocassional time kena stop tepi jalan sbb something got into the eye, then those rising sun glare, runny tears due to wind. But yeah...600 ringgit vs 100 ringgit. Feel it's worth it considering sometime I feel dizzy with the ciplaks....must be not even or got some lens provlem |

Hi guys I need to send my wheelset for service. Did 4k on them and recently I realise the rear is dished. It's no longer centered and that must be due to chain drop between the cassete and spoke few month ago. Need to readjust back the tension so the wheel comes off the other side
Any suggestions to service wheelset? Usual like degrease hub, change bearing if needed and tru Pls recommend good source that you frequent please..that will be appreciated |

QUOTE(radmaszeal @ Mar 23 2021, 08:42 AM) if PJ area try megabike and meng thai, they build wheels themselves and can service and true wheels. but better call megabike first, i think got backlog of bikes to service, might not be taking in bikes for service at the moment That's why I ask. QUOTE(vhs1 @ Apr 2 2021, 01:43 AM) My current tyre koyak edi. If you want speed.....conti gp5000..tried and tested. The other one I quite like is maxxis high road...very rubbery feel.served me well for 10 months without any puncture. Looking to change to Vittoria Zaffiro pro or any suitable within budget. Or top up a bit for better. If puncture protection vittoria control. These are tires I use so based on my experience....if want to tembak...gp5000s for sure |
