aiyo. now your presta tubes got the nuts, yes? take them out and go for a ride la see got rattle anot. if u dont feel like buying and testing. like that pun mau tanya,
I had that problem. I end up go hardware shop find smallest rubber grommet. Slide onto the tip and secure with the nut. No more rattle
Seems like the fire sale has kicked off. Quite a number of people are selling their RB on BSB Malaysia FB. Most of them were bought in July this year & reason for sale = "upgrading".
Check out facebook market place. Saw one guy posted sworks sl6 rim brake frame only 8.9k ....brand new was 16k.
Matter of time...wait for next month and following month. Damn tempted but still holding on .....my bike no problem but last few days problem started to appear suddenly.
My rear wheel seems to dished senget after chain slipped from highest cog. Wanted to send to megabike but queue panjang siut....still can ride..but under heavy torque when I'm off saddle...can hear slight rub on the stays

Anyway this brand , pinarello(chinarello) and factor banyak oem...fake. but standard weekend warrior...I don't think it matters but personally I rather buy cheaper original than oem
The machining quality...especially mechanical areas is not so good ..if want to claim warranty also cannot...and most important is the safety aspect....if seat snap or fork crack and snap( unlike alu that bend) ... .can become arwah
Talk Cog Roadies will fuck u upside down and say OEM quality same par as ori
Oem is oem la bro. Can say whatever everyone entitled to thier own opinion......if I can't afford high end frame..I won't get oem for whatever reason.....
Like car parts....u willing to trust oem absorber or ciplak lower arm? The thing snap....can be catastrophic !
That said, some oem frame is good....but to me...unless got original warranty..there is no peace of mind
i've seen a carbon bike from ~15 yrs ago crashed in a pile up during a race. toptube broke but the rider still able to ride it.
Carbon frame like all type of material has lifespan. Due to fatique, most will change after 5 years. Specialize and top manufacturer give lifetime warranty but I think 2 scenario 1) they tai chi and say something wrongly installed 2) you won't be alive to do any claims.
I try to keep my frame at least 5 years ...but with all this offers, tempted to change. But yeah if u looking for used frames...try not to get too old. .....material fatique is real boys
Malaysia got specialist in repairing bicycle carbon fibre frames? I know we have ppl doing carbon fibre jobs for car body parts lah but they seem to be very dodgy kind of patchwork lah since those car body parts are not load bearing like bicycle frames
I recall one time this guy was sitting on his bike frame while standing. Suddenly he fell backwards and onto his bike. The crack sound I hear can never forget. Rear stays cracked and can't pedal anymore. Lucky got backup truck to pick him up. Frame was a bianchi ....that sound....suddenly pin drop silence all look at that guy
But it's kind of common to relay carbon sheets and patch it up. Some say is even stronger than original frame. But for me....the virginity is torn...no more confidence....if I continue use it back of my head will be thinking to look back and see if crack comes .....or just feel uncomfortable knowing it's cracked before

Berapa lama lifespan carbon? Carbon got fatigue? Plz dont give ajaran sesat
Generally 5 years or so ...but 5 years in today tech advancement...if you see 5 year ago madone vs today's madone...conlanfirm u won't want the one 5 year ago
Nothing last forever ...not even carbon ......if the direction of impact is the weakest part of the carbon ie horizontal impact or angled impact, it will crack easily. Some frame like cervelo rear seat stay so damn thin ( offcourse engineering reason) that it falls off and hit an angle....will likely break that they won't cover under warranty. But it's not as sensitive as glass....but u know....if crash and hit something really hard....metal will transfer energy...carbon will absorb energy
Wife managed to damage 2 weeks old bike, so sad 😓
Damage not so bad....the handle bar bent or only the levers went side ways ? Can adjust.
Scratches on the lever...don't worry bro..after first time scratch...don't give a damn anymore ..just ride. My lever also fall one time...the bit came out. So I'm not bothered. The inside of the lever has one bit that holds the cable stopper . can break due to rust after washing if you don't dry properly...I kena once..the thing snap....and I replace one side.....how nice or scratch less also...sure something bound to happen so I don't really bother these days. Just ride.
And on Sunday the 2 riders kena also at the same spot?
perez dont play downhill can hit 75kmh. everytime i see my odo hit 40kmh, and above, is slowdown. its not coz i cant go fast but the risk is terpelanting and fly to the other side of the road - where lucky only rider basikal. sometime alot of crazy rider superbike may hit u.
i got one friend slip on perez during rain on his foldie. muka pecah - helmet and sunnies save, but chin scraped the road. until today (after 3 years) his scars are a reminder.
i only dare to sprint on flat/fast on flat. dont dare go fast on sempah/peres - now alot of bike haters especially alot of those celebrity with thier support cars - make the locals piss off - and i am not suprise they too will resort to this. no difference than those tuang minyak on the road
so, back to new question, numb nether region, crotch or, numb dick/cock.
I'm not tech guy like you peeps pakai cycling shorts, beep whatever. Bangun pagi 530, sembahyang sekejap, cuci muka, put on hrm, put on blocktech jacket (with hood inside), put on giro helmet, pakai kasut, naik basikal.
Problem is, after habis ride 1 hour, mmng numb dick, last sometimes unti the next day, maybe the saddle, maybe the position. Could it be my jogger trousers i use to go to sleep in (well, standard seluar has seams dekat crotch area).
I had this issue before. My fitter measure my sit bone and ask me go buy wider seat with cut out in the middle. Problem solve. No more numb dick or pain inside. We need to sit on our sit bone...not soft tissue that will pinch nerve
So I settle with fixik arione open. Like the big wide platform to move front and back ( back when relax, front when attack or uphill)
Take all this with a grain of salt lah, most are biased reviews coming from their own journalist.. whom nobody gives a shyt
Biggest problem with every top tier TCR is their ISP seatpost.. its just not practical for end users. i.e. try fitting that into a bike bag for travel. You will even have a hard time reselling in the future due to the cut to size ISP seatpost..
Yes agree....I buy bike never cut seat or stem. I leave it there so it's easier to sell ...so I use the chimney to put milo ikat tepi for those ride that cannot wait for rest
u hv chimney ... how also compensate abit geh better comfort than aero
Yes. Comfort is more important than aero. Middle ground is hard to find but so far just stick 2 spacer down. I tried 0 spacer so bike looks like pro racer...but got pain at tailbone during uphill and numb hand as weight suddenly drop to hand and shoulder
Maybe will have to drop 15 to 20kg so I be in the range of 60kg...slim..slender and sexy like pro rider
i slammed my handlebar cos it look nicer ... (slight regret but yeah i did it... haha) need to ride more to get used to it
Hard to get used to it unless you really focus on conditioning and flexibility. The other thing is for sure your average speed will dip as your body struggle to balance itself and adjust itself on the bike.
I tried it...dropped 4kmh from my average distance of 100km. Tho I got some pr on decents likely due to aero position but really can't hold that position for long before my nuts start to hurt. Feels like my hips are being limited on the upstroke and body try to compensate on the downstroke. All of that lead to backpain....tried to keep that position for 3 rides but gave up...I'm just not flexible and to put the effort to become flexible over a short period of time not going to work for someone that works 9am to 7pm at work.
But if you can, it's going to be amazing ..free performance gain man
Cannondale either but just look at the number of cannondales on the road. Just 2 years ago, you can see just hand full of them...now like bersepah supersix in every ride....if you pass by 10 cyclist , you can see 2 or 3 cannondale. This morning I ride peres, can see 5 cyclist in a bunch of supersix
Mostly newbies are the ones riding cannondale these days. The shop in subang taipan that distribute cannondale, I went to buy chain lube....thier whole rack kosong....sapu habis cannondale
