The MG100 Turn A build looks interesting, but the robot still dun appeal to me.
And finally one of my fave mechs from Seed gets MG treatment...MG101 ZGMF-X42S Destiny. Will have o wait till more pics and details are leaked out. Wings of light looks great imho. So who gonna get the normal version and who gonna get special edition?
Here are some pictures of a superbly modelled Destiny, dunno if its been posted before. Noticed the silver and brass parts for rocket nozzles and gun barrels. Maybe special edition one will come close to this fine example.
Pictures can be found
http://f7.aaa.livedoor.jp/~mesarion/gallery/des/des.htm. Who can translate Japanese and tell us what the article says?
Here are some nice ones
Somehow I don't like the plastic extensions that protrude outwards when the sword is folded. In addition, the red part of the wings are a bit too wide compared to the anime lineart. These two points seem to be present in most of the modded MG Destiny models found online... If I'm not mistaken Vicious Project's resin kits suffer the same problems too. Look at them here:
http://i61.photobucket.com/albums/h73/pergamos/VPDestiny.jpgNevertheless, BANDAI's own MG Destiny doesn't seem to have these problems. Good job I must say.
And the Turn A is looking sweeter and sweeter by the moment...
Yet it seems shrunken compared to the 1/100 (note this in one of the pics)... smaller rifle and shield, less bulky torso and shoulder armors, shorter pelvic armor... 4K yen for this?

Dont hope too much for a 1/100 Dygenguar since it will most probably be 3-4 feet tall???

Btw, how come no one mentioned about the new MG Gelgoog V2. It is suppose to be a very good kit.

Here's some picture reviews if you like it...
dalong.net has one, while
gunplablog.com is building one at the moment.
It's only been out for a week, so it will take some time before it reaches local shores...
