The master does it again, yet somehow I don't really like the extended feet of his newer works... it looks as if the gundam is wearing slippers.

but, in short, if compared in terms of inner frame & the expose part which is the gold part, sf fbm looks more "gold"-ier & more "shine"-ier than the normal mg sf =)

how come the sf lightning edition doesn't have those expose parts? =/
*
That is the point of having the FB edition... shinier bling bling joints. And together with a RM10+ Action base, they charge you hell more, but then again, you get the normal poo joints too. Good for spare parts though, or maybe you can use it for scratch building.

meanwhile... the Japs are fast... Zaku I conversion kit for Zaku II ver2.0 frame !!

seem like MG100 annouce liao?
or is it a fake?

I don't get it as well...

Apparently those models shown are 1/144s, yet the title did mention something about the MG100. Babelfish translated the title into something which made no sense.

I'm guessing that it might be some sort of special edition set where you get all 4 models with the launchpad as well, and it might be released along with the announcement of the no. 100 MG.

Well, since all of the shown 1/144s have been released as MGs apart from the Guntank, so could the Guntank be the no.100 MG? whistling.gif

Go speculate biggrin.gif

^ the excalibur is the impulse's giant sword, you can see it in the upper right corner of Ah wang's pic.

Anyway... a glimpse of what Char's Zaku will look like... this is the normal Zaku painted in red.

You just gotta love this:

And here's something interesting... Deathscythe Hell Custom with Strike's frame. Not a very good mod, but interesting nonetheless.

Cosmic Region.. smaller than MG... around the size of an 1/144, but hell lot more expensive.

But then again you get better looking proportions whistling.gif

^ maybe it will come with the 100th MG tongue.gif

The pic only says that it is an 1/100, but that is probably the real 100th MG since the only 1/100 line running now is GS and GSD.

Having said that, the Turn A looks really good. Proportion wise it's much more beautiful than the normal lineart, and the amount of panel lines is stunning like the OYW RX78. However, there are still no signs of what it can do... I assume it can move like the Zaku ver2.0 or even better.

QUOTE(Ah WanG @ May 17 2007, 10:29 PM)
Now that is beautiful... yes the mouche design might not be everyone's cup of tea, and in fact the MG Turn A doesn't have the moustache (unlike the anime)... It has a proper gundam mouth and the horned moustache are located at the side of the head, kinda like Wing Gundam.

Let's see what gimmicks this model can do.

Just found out from other forums that the Turn A was a mod from HobbyLink Japan... the one on the right with the typical moustache mouth is by Dengeki Hobby. Looking at the concept pics behind, it seems that the MG TurnA will have a horned mouth after all.

http://happy.ap.teacup.com/runchickens/491.html
Char's Gelgoog... no signs of articulations too, and it seems less impressive than the Zaku ver2.0 due to the obscuring of the inner frame by the bulky armour.

What we know so far (will be updated as information comes):

    * The model is planned to be released 08/2007.
    * The model will be based on the anime version (so it's not a Ka design or anything).
    * The model will come with removable chest missiles (because of this, the chest will also open...as expected).
    * The frame on the back of the legs will have some sort of linked join movement.
    * The core fighter will be detachable.
    * It will come with standing and seated Loran figures.
    * The chest will be able to convert from the white cross (Syd Mead's original design) to the regular blue version.
    * Comes with a rifle, shield, Gundam hammer, and two beam sabers.
    * Comes with a cow figure, as seen in episode 8.
    * There was a contest that ran in Japan, where people could guess what the 100th Master Grade would be. Bandai will select 100 random people of those who guessed correctly, and they will receive a gold-plated version of the Turn A Gundam.

8000 yen for a simple kit without any super gimmicks? Only a rifle, shield, hammer, and beam sabres? Where is the moonlight butterfly?

Oh well... will give it a miss then. 8K yen... I could get two Char's Zakus with some spare change left !!

Here's a bigger pic of the Turn A shown in the expo:
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

Too bad it's not the MG version, which is reportedly to have the same design as the anime version, ie pointy moustache without the mouth piece.

MG 100 Turn A Gundam's price not yet decided
where did you get the news that it's selling at 8k yen?  doh.gif

OK... just checked and it seems that the price is not confirmed... I thought it was 8K yen because of previous rumours from other forums.

My bad.

1 main reason i dun like turn A :the whole design(from head to leg) sucks..... yawn.gif  doh.gif

Preference is subjective. I agree that the Turn-A's design looks unorthodox, yet I feel that the design suits the atmosphere of the show. Turn-X looks even more badass than any other antagonist suit in AU.

In fact, I prefer the design of Turn-A to Strike Noir and Strike Freedom... those two look unbalanced to me.

Anyway... here's a HiZaku biggrin.gif

^ this was a prototype showcased long time ago when the F91 was released... So is BANDAI going to release this kit? It's just a simple rehash of the F91 frame so it's highly possible. For me the F91 looks better but it's just me.

anyway... high res pics from the shizouka hobby show... the gelgoog looks sweet. thumbup.gif Also included are the CAD designs of MG Turn A.

More pics here... from the same source I reckon. About articulation, there is still no pics about them but from the joints it seems it'll have movements which is on par with other ver2.0 MGs, with the exception of the Zaku.

http://www.happinetonline.com/NASApp/mnas/...D=4543112505309

Judging from the way things are going, future MGs will be better and better. Can't wait for BANDAI to release V2, if they are going to make it anyway.

After watching the link given above!
I have a feeling those Gundam 00 is going to be very small in size! Since they will be producing 1/80 scale instead of standard 1/100!!!
*
Erm... 1/80 is still larger than 1/100 tongue.gif FG probably means a 1/144 which might be slightly better than NG 1/144 (with bendable elbows and knees only); or maybe it's another naming gimmick where FG=1/144 and HG=1/100... not sure, just speculation.

About OO... meh... the designs are absolutely hideous and resemble nothing like Gundam. It's not original like Turn A either... click on the link below and scroll down to see the features of MG Turn A, which I believe there's much more to come.
http://www.hobbyfanatics.com/index.php?sho...158854&st=180&#

There's no news about future MG models after Turn A, so will BANDAI stop and take a breather, or will they continue with their one MG per month strategy? If it's the latter, my guess is that we'll get recolored versions of older MGs since there's no news about any future models.

Unless... it's the rumoured MG Destiny. Again, the magic word here is RUMOURED.

QUOTE(JdOtL @ Jun 22 2007, 09:37 AM)
First grade mean 1/144 with no articulation. NG normally mean 1/100 like all the seed model, HG mean 1/144 will more detail and articulation.
*
Source?

Because from the pics, FG seems to have bent elbows, unless the elbows are permanently bent that way... And note that the NG I meant was NG 1/144 which was notoriously horrible in terms of build, colour, and mobility; not the Seed line of NG1/100 (which is supposed to be the old HG 1/100 from GW and GX).

Again, my speculation is that:
FG = NG 1/144 with limited movements @ normal HG 1/144 with just another name
HG = 1/100, since if you look at the promo pics they are drawn slightly larger than the FG. Then again, it's only a drawing, not the actual model kits.

In addition, from the promo pics there doesn't seem to be any NGs available, unless it's the 1/60 which is probably a larger version of 1/100 like the 1/60 Strike/Impulse/Freedom of the Seed line.

Meh... Don't really care about OO since they are hideous and there doesn't seem to be any special gimmicks. I am more interested in seeing what the MG Turn A can do besides tons of opening compartments and protruding frames. Somehow I doubt the presence of Moonlight Butterfly addons since it's only a 4K yen kit... Prove me wrong Bandai...
