QUOTE(ZiYi @ May 9 2007, 05:51 PM) just bought a full burst mode X20A. This is my first touch on MG. One big question, how am I gonna a paint the litte pilot figure which not taller than 2cm? With a size 000 brush of course And there are 3 figures in this box.... swt I don't find those to be a problem, as I'm too used to painting those 25mm figurines from Warhammer 40K and Fantasy. Actually check out the painting guides for those, might help to do those pilots. http://members.aol.com/drdresch/hints3.htm |

also..sometimes you can use toothpick to paint those really tiny place..
but this really need skill and experience to come out with very nice result.. since this is your first MG..better leave that mini figure first..lol.. |

QUOTE(Lurker @ May 10 2007, 12:23 PM) any sites with proper reviews? overall review from me:Added on May 10, 2007, 12:50 pmmost interesting images.. hehehe http://kogwerks.com/guest_fss.htm all LED Mirage kits are non colored? the kit i got comes with boomerang unit.. (part resin) i messed up on the boomerang unit.. it's too heavy and fell.. broken into pieces the plastic mold sucks.. need lotsa putty and sanding. + glues.. the rubber links are weak.. parts are loose.. also.. need primer before the white.. if u have LOT of time/skill.. u can mess with it.. else don't even think bout it. it's no where close to gunplas.. if u want reviews: google "cody scoop" .. he's got one nicely made.. |

Which would u guys recommend, official gundam marker or some other brands like pilot? get gundam markers good enough already (GM01)..no need to recommend other brand already..what else best if bandai itself already produce their own markers for their own model kits..lol QUOTE(Exiled_Gundam @ May 10 2007, 03:01 PM) Huhu, mine (1/100 LED Mirage w/Flame Launcher) didn't even molded in white, instead it is molded in greenish white color (which will force me to color the whole kit) lol..LED are not for newbie or those with no time to build them..they also have those smaller parts and need to cement them.. |

If i am going to mess with those stuff i think i will used about half year to do the whole thing.what else best if bandai itself already produce their own markers for their own model kits..lol lol..LED are not for newbie or those with no time to build them.. they also have those smaller parts and need to cement them.. |
