Its japan set. I have to send it to japan or at least have japan address which I don't know how or knew any shop can provide such services. I'm willing to spend some money for such services. It says covered within warranty but I need to put the right address for shipping back which it comes with error. They can't send it to Malaysia due it not officially available in here I think. Thats far as I've been searching through ms page for now. Don't now if I've miss something else
I've tried with all the available guide through the internet. Nothing works. Clearly its hardware problems mainly on the ssd I presume. It will not followed any beeping sound when u tried to force it update through offline mode. It just shut down. Can get through the troubleshoot menu but can't get it trough reset option either.

funny thing is that wasn't my intended run, in that run I was using rail, the weapon I aren't used to, was intended to do a resource + boon prophecy fulfil run only.  Boons I just selected those fulfilling my prophecy, and next time you know, I reached Hades with full lives and beat him   guess luck was on my side that time

Hey guys. Just wanted to share something new with my Series X. Today I got a notification on my LG BX TV that a new update is available. After I updated the TV, I checked my Series X, and it looks like the update allowed Dolby Vision for gaming at 60Hz. Are there any games that support Dolby Vision gaming right now?

Yeah there's a reason for this too. On my TV, I use the Netflix and Disney+ Hotstar app. I can't run Prime Video on the TV using Malaysian IP address, because it will not allow me to watch geolocked content. On the Xbox, it's using VPN. I have my router setup so that some devices go through VPN, and others go to the Internet directly. If I run the TV through VPN, then Disney+ Hotstar will not work. It will just give us Hotstar content (Indian channels) without the Disney stuff. So that's how it is. Xbox for Prime Video. TV for Netflix and Disney+ Hotstar.

Previously, my old amp wasn't HDMI 2.1 ready. So I can't run 4K/120. Only 1440p/120 is the best I can get. I actually upgraded to the Yamaha RX-A2A quite recently, because I got a good price for it. I'm aware of the HDMI 2.1 bug affecting it of course. But since Yamaha has a program to fix the HDMI 2.1 bug, I just buy it first. Using the amp as it is now, is just like using my old amp. I can't select 4K/120, only 1440p/120. Yamaha probably issued a firmware update to disable 4K/120 for now, because otherwise you would just get the black screen thing that every online forum was talking about.

yeah wanna know if coop or play game at same time.. like both ur xbox got gamepass account and playing gamepass game, but 1 of them login other account to play gamepass game at same time..

Keep us updated for the repair! I was actually planning to buy a xss until i saw your post, though I know majority has no problem, but who knows if im the lucky one. It would be nice to know if it can be repaired locally, just in case.

Generally speaking there are 2 ways to buy digital games. Directly from Microsoft store, or other digital merchants like cdkeys. In both cases you still redeem it from the Microsoft store. I used to be able to buy directly from the Microsoft store with my Maybank credit card. But it's been blocked somehow. So now I just buy US gift cards, which I can use to buy content from the store.

Nope doesn't work for me. It used to work all the time, but not anymore. If I call Maybank, they will tell me that yes, they blocked the transaction. If I want to clear it, I need to try the payment, get rejected, call Maybank again, tell them I just tried to make a transaction, and ask them to allow it. THEN I need to try again, and this time it will work. Not sure since when did they have this restriction. It's the same if I try to buy from shop4malaysia too.

I just tested Psychonauts 2 and Outriders too. They also support Dolby Vision. Does your TV display Dolby Vision with other sources? Netflix, the Dolby app, Blurays?

I see. Meaning the TV input and the Xbox output has to match. Since the TV doesn't yet support Dolby Vision at 120Hz, it simply won't enable it. When you set the refresh rate to 60Hz on the Xbox, the TV is now able to accept the signal and display it.

There's no current tech for 120@DV now bro.

XBL Gold Brazil is region locked. You need a VPN. I was one last few to do it without VPN. the region locked most likely happen after the surge of "Xbox Brazil users". Is also one of the cheapest way to upgrade to GPU, at that time.

1 Year XBLG Brazil was around RM120-140. (Is basically the price of PS+ MY at that time too lol). Buy 3 then pay a dollar to upgrade. You can get 3 years worth of GPU for under RM500  Too bad my friend tried it like 2-3 months later failed.

Agreed on using Brazil region for this, as it is quite cheap and still has gift cards on sale in case of issues. 1st method is to:

Use laptop > buy 3 years worth of Xbox Live Gold > buy 1 month Game Pass Ultimate > connect to Brazil VPN > setup new Xbox account in Brazil region > redeem 3 years XBL codes > redeem 1 month GPU code

Your account should now have 3 years worth of Game Pass Ultimate. Note that I never tried this method, YMMV.

Also note that my method for my personal acc was different and a bit more leceh (2nd method):

Use laptop > buy 3 years worth of Brazil Xbox Live Gold > buy Brazil gift card to make use of $1 promo > connect to Brazil VPN > setup new Xbox account in Brazil region > redeem 3 years XBL codes > redeem gift card > try to use $1 promo > fail > ask customer service to help with the conversion

This is leceh because for some reason, when I try to use the $1 method it will still ask me for backup payment information (need Brazil CC) even when my acc already have enough credits to pay for the promo. Thus I had to ular a bit with the customer service to get everything done. They will either use the credits in your acc to do the conversion, or belanja you 1 month GPU sub to convert everything. I experienced both situations before.

The 1st method is the easiest, but I dunno if suddenly in the conversion it still ask you for backup payment info. If that's the case then GG and need to talk to customer service la.

One final tip is not to buy Turkey Xbox Live Gold subs or create new Turkey acc. Yes it is way cheaper and Google search also says that Xbox Live Gold subs are region free.
HOWEVER, in the conversion process you might be hit with errors like different subscription region and stuff, only customer service can help save you. I experienced this as well.

Thanks for all your input. I guess I will stick with getting it via xbox.com US site then straight upgrade to GPU $1. I notice that on xbox.com there isn't a 12 months option but instead a 3 months sub option. Let say if i buy a 12 months digital code via Amazon 3 times and I can still upgrade to $1 GPU via xbox.com right?

But it will be quite expensive if I go this route. $59.99 x 3 + $1 = $180.97. Almost RM756 after conversion. I wonder if there is any website that sells cheaper US region XBL gold for 12 months?
