X1 days end up falling asleep at the first chapter

yeah, the recent PC component price hike is really crazy, was planning to change my 10 years old logitech mouse over the weekend, was planning to get the 502 which was around RM199 when got promo, and now the promo price is RM340

Series S on Qisahn is back on stock again

finally an official xbox wireless headset, we have been waiting for ages since the crappy bundled mono wired headset in the 360 days

anyway, not gonna jump the gun here, going to wait for more reviews on the audio quality first

problem is... the moment Qisahn restock their Series X, it's sold out within one minute, Series S also sold out within few hours

they are still a lot more demand than supply, with worldwide chip shortage now,
I don't see the production can catch up with demand very soon like what they predicted previously that stock can normalised in March

finally can't stand the agony of waiting and seeing others enjoying their series s/x and pulled the trigger

bought the series x from impulse on Shopee, damage = RM2812 with shipping

resisted the temptations so many times in the past few weeks
GH sales, then Qisahn restock of Series S x2 times, found a cheaper one on Shopee at RM2899
but all managed to pull the handbrake last minute at checkout and cancelled

but today poison is strong + impulse is selling at all time low

gonna eat maggie mee for lunch for next few weeks

it's a one day sales from Impulse, they should revert the price back to 2999 once they open shop later

why don't just add on a bit to grab the series S?

yes, the xbox controller is noisier compared to the PS controller, even the rumble is pretty loud until I have to switch it off for midnight gaming

Gotten my XsX yesterday, can't wait for the posman to deliver so went straight to the poslaju office to take it myself

Unboxing:
This is the easiest and fastest unboxing I've ever done for all my consoles, no difficult to peel stickers, no tonnes of wrappings to remove... just unpeel the easy to peel off stickers from the box, open up, and there, the cube is right in front of you. IMO the best presentation for any consoles I've ever owned.

Upgrade:
It's a seamless upgrade from my X1S to XSX, first setup was painless and very easy, just gotta wait for the games to be download again, interface is exactly the same, no learning curve there at all
I even wondering if I'm playing on the wrong console or not, even sneak a peek at my X1S once a while to make sure it's off and my X1S is on
Controller felt the same, except the slight improvement to the grip area, not as slippery as the old one, but that means we'll have to clean up the controller a lot more often

Game play:
Only got time to download and play Destiny 2 and Sekiro, both is still the same game but felt different due to faster loading time, and faster FPS.
My biggest shock is Destiny's inventory loading screen waiting time was almost eliminated totally, use to have to wait for few seconds for the inventory or map screen to appear, and now, click and there is it
Sekiro framerate was pretty bad on my X1S, and now the improved FPS made it awesome again, and now just wishing Ghost of Tsushima wasn't a Sony exclusive.

tonight will try other games like GOW 5, Forza Horizon and the Medium

I knew about that, just doesn't have an external HDD on hand with free space like that to copy & paste, and copy paste also will take some time

so I just left it download while having dinner, and after dinner, Destiny is done as that's the first game I wanna try on this new console.

I think best chance for you to get one at RRP is using the UAE set order service posted in FB as mentioned above, if you don't mind waiting

qisahn now is also almost next to impossible to get the XSX like the PS5 stocks, all sold out within seconds

Mine is a UK set from Impulse, paid more than the RRP (RM2.8k vs RM2.3K), but I wouldn't say it's scalper price, since if you do the calculation like foreign currency conversion plus shipping to M'sia plus taxes, is around the same figure

But if it's the SG set selling at that figure, then it's definitely scalper price

how's the performance of your old games in the external SSD? (what's your spec also?) compared to run it from the built-in internal SSD?

since now not much XSX games yet, the current 800Gb storage is still more than sufficient for my current gaming need

can't be greedy like last time, I kept my PS4 2Tb HDD full to the brim, yet I only play less than 5% of the installed games in there regularly not to mention finished games
the more games I installed, the less games I will finish
