Yeah, u r right. Checked on Shopee the smart charger Panasonic BQ CC55 can charge 2 eneloop pro in 2hours.

Just bought one but the charger has a faint/soft ticking sound when charging. Does anyone, esp those who have the same model, know if that's normal? A quick check on the internet shows some people say it's normal.

My basic charger  BQ-CC51 doesn't make such sound.

Lol actually also more gaming on PC 😂 cos now PC hooked to TV. But i think the HDR setting on pc sux la. Xbox less hassle on hdr, and for me hdr more important than 4k. So HDR not nice means less mood play also 😂 xbox now at working home in brunei. use to watch stream and time to time play overwatch 2😂 cos here don have good TV only i use my 1080p monitor, so no mood play those nice game lol. Sorry for being picky, cos once u go black u never go back (OLED) lol

Thinking investing a 48inch OLED here. But 48inch hard bring over la.. scare cross border kenak tax. If monitor very expensive altho it has better portability. u should treat ur eyes good and it can be pretty rewarding haha. can consider get lg c2 at 2023, u might get good bargain. I probably will get a 32inch or 27inch mini led monitor target 1st quarter next year see what good monitor we have in the market. currently much hyped coolermaster tempest is getting very good review for its price, dunno will reach msia or not lol.

u are on win10 or win11? actually win11 HDR is already miles better than win10 implementation, just not xbox level haha.

december GPU lineup is good, anticipating this high on life lol. Seems like a psychonauts-ish silly colorful art style game which i really like. hopefully it is good tho.

After 'fighting' with Panasonic Malaysia I finally received a new unit but it makes the same ticking sound like the earlier unit. I somehow find it hard to believe both units have the same / exact defect.

I have  BQ-CC55, tried to listen very close during charging and YES there is sound. Intermittent "ting, ting" sound. The sound only can hear if you put your ear close to it. No issue so far, been using it for almost 1 year with 6 batts.

Really weird. I wonder if it is due to the fact the chargers were from different batches.

My only concern is safety issue. The 2 units I have work but the sound kind of scares me.

Only problem with microsoft is the accessories price never drop. The nvme ssd now 400-500 1tb can get real good but the expansion card 1tb need 1k 😂

This isn't actually something new, if you think about it. The original Xbox had those 8MB memory cards, the 360 also supported memory cards (before they supported external storage as memory cards). This stopped for a while during the Xbox One era, but now they are once again using proprietary storage.

And if we are talking about internal storage, Xbox had never allowed self upgrading of their storage, from day one. The OG Xbox did use a standard IDE hard disk, but had to be a specific type (unless you use a custom dashboard, but then you can't boot to the default dashboard). The 360 used those removable hard disk things (in actuality just a 2.5" HDD in an enclosure), and those things were also overpriced. It's only after Microsoft allowed external storage support that things became more affordable. And now we're back to this old shit. Sigh.

one only can dream for XsXv2 or XsX Slim to accept NVME SSD

How's the loading speed running those non XsX games on external storage compared to running them natively from the internal SSD?
