there's no official local warranty of the xbox here in M'sia

only warranty is from their country of origin, which is basically useless here unless you plan to ship it back to claim which is a huge hassle and expensive endeavor

just treat it like no warranty at all, if buying 2nd hand, ask for at least 1 week of personal warranty from the seller

i don't play competitive MP anymore nowadays partly bcos of cheaters as well

I was a Destiny vet, can hold my own in console PvP, until they enabled PC crossplay then hell break loose, I constantly get headshotted, opponents refused to die with a close range shotty + titan punch, and I got killed by their single punch in return. Sometimes even got killed within 0.1 sec at spawn point
reported them, they got banned, but they'll return shortly with a new ID and the whole thing repeat again

me: why didn't bring in Xbox series? it's picking up momentum locally

owner: Xbox no games, no one want to buy it

me: have you heard of game pass? tonnes of games there, I played until vomit

owner: don't have any games I like, gamepass is a lot more expensive than PS+

me: out of more than 300 games, no games you like there? Halo? Gears? Forza? you can get gamepass for cheap also you know...

owner: I can play all those on PC for "free", xbox don't have great games like God of War series, Horizon series, latest FF7

me: those are coming to PC also, you know?

owner: they come out on PS first! *owner getting agitated

yeah... since the early days of PS2 till now, it seems the blue camp has a lot more toxic fanboys compared to other camps
I remember last time there was a particular super fanboy mod in their thread who will ban or delete any comments saying anything bad about PS

you can see lots of toxic rants in their camp when HZD/GoW PC version are announced, it's like end of the world for some of them
some even threatening to boycott Sony for the rest of their lives
they are super duper obsessives of their "exclusive" games, you can see some fanboys even butthurt when GoW runs a lot more superior on PC

MS really should go buy few more Asian game companies like Sega, Square Enix, Bandai, Capcom or Konami if they seriously wanna come back to Asia markets

wow~ SE so cheap ? only 5.5 bil? Even Candy Crush should worth more than that today

SE have lots of games that can increase MS's portfolio, especially the FF series
I think Sony also has their eyes on SE right now

there gonna be HUGE protest by them if that happens

so sorta meaning MS might not be able to buy SE, but Sony won't have much issue buying them if they want la

but yeah, japanis and their national & corporate pride is damn strong, but also at the same time is full of old dinosaurs at their helm

Bloodborne, platinum it, as got cheat mode dungeon I still dunno how I can finish it with <30fps
Sekiro, got ass kicked repeatedly by the first general, rage quit
Elden Ring? most likely will buy and will still collecting digital dust after 5 years


and I thought I'll enjoy the souls game more on XsX for the 60fps, and finish them, well... guess not, age catching up, doesn't have the patient like last time to die again and again

IMO Sekiro is more skill based compared to other soul series where you can just go grab an OP weapons early on to have an easier game, and most enemies you can beat by brute force or sniping from afar

old d, reaction time is not as fast as previous, always failed to parry in time

damn fugly, put it on the desk with CNY tidbits and ppl will think it's a tissue box

starting a Halo marathon from 1 to 5 this CNY long holiday before starting Infinite

Halo 1 is still as tedious, repetitive and not as fun as I remembered
But jumping from H1 CE to H2 Anni blew my mind, can't recall H2 being so much fun last time, maybe due to poor framerate last time on OG Xbox
Starting from there also you really can see the similarity and what's carried over to Destiny by Bungie
