QUOTE(KomradMikhail @ Dec 15 2021, 03:23 PM) Guys, the Dolby Atmos license on Xbox is tied to the same account on Win10/11 PC, right? Don't tell me I've to buy it twice on PC and Xbox? It's tied to your account, not deviceJust in preparation of the arrival of my SteelSeries Arctis 7X mid next month. Hard-wired to the AVR via HDMI2.1 CABLE, Atmos plug-and-play onboth the XSX and PC. The Dolby Access app just shows "Ready to use" with AVR as default audio processor. you only need to buy it once, I'm using it both on my PC, laptops & XsX This post has been edited by greyshadow: Dec 15 2021, 04:40 PM KomradMikhail liked this post

Another dang surprise in gamepass, or maybe I just missed the announcement
but Record of Lodoss War is goody every fans of castlevania or metroidvania should try it out action is tight & responsive, bosses can be brutal, love the mechanic of the game was just planning to try it out for 10-15mins last night for nostalgic reason, as I've watch Lodoss war anime few decades back but that 10-15mins end up become 2 hours This post has been edited by greyshadow: Dec 17 2021, 08:58 AM |

QUOTE(Avangelice @ Dec 17 2021, 11:33 AM) Tried that too. The prompt is different now. Last time it was an error code but multiple tries can by pass it. Last night was different. It says card must be from origin country. you'll still will get that once a whileIMO the card loophole is still there, it's just not very consistent in detecting and stopping the cross region buying For my case, main account: some cards will be able to buy once after few weeks it was rejected, but only once, next purchases will be rejected again secondary account: same BP card as above, but no issue buying as gift to gift to my main account, but you're only limited to 8 gifts quota per month IINM managed to buy a few cheap DLCs using my secondary account as gifts just last night This post has been edited by greyshadow: Dec 17 2021, 02:09 PM |

I think Turkey store is the cheapest now, at least accordingly to few games I've compared with AR stores
RE8 in TR is RM60, AR is RM100 Tales of Arise in TR is RM50, AR is RM145 but Biomutant is more expensive in TR, RM63 compared to AR is RM55 This post has been edited by greyshadow: Dec 20 2021, 03:06 PM |

switched region to Turkey, tried using the same cc on my main account, no joy again
but successfully gifting to my main using my second account, similar settings like AR, just add the same CC with turkey address also I've noticed BigPay card no longer exchanging near to the latest online exchange rate, you'll have to add on roughly another addition 10%, my ToA supposed to be RM50 based on exchange rate on google or XE, but in my BP apps it was RM55, likewise for the rest of my transactions |

QUOTE(TongCN @ Dec 27 2021, 04:34 PM) Lol ... My Halo Infinite stopped playing for 2 weeks already T___T no progress crap, finished Zero, 1/3 thru kiwami 1, guess I'll buy them to collect digital dust thenSo many backlogs (though no need purchase). Yakuza Kiwami 1 & 2 also leaving game pass soon, downloaded the game since this year and not even boot up XD they're really cheap during one of the recent sales, guess I'll got a good reason to buy the whole saga then QUOTE(chtan @ Dec 27 2021, 04:37 PM) Finished Halo Infinite yesterday and going back to Nier Automata now. There still plenty of backlog from Steam, PS4, Switch and even Series-X. backlog... a term that doesn't exist during our early gaming days we have got all the time in the world, but very limited games to play, not to mention not enough money too nowadays bought lots of games on all platforms, even knowing deep down, I'll never have the time to play them all even hand itchy go spend a lot to upgrade 80% of my PC recently, even knowing I won't even utilize 50% of the power it has? revenge for childhood lack of games maybe? or just midlife crisis |

QUOTE(tripleB @ Dec 28 2021, 11:17 AM) I think my best gaming years are already behind me. That time between college and final year university felt special. I had a Pentium III 600Mhx (later upgraded to 1Ghz), with Geforce 256 card (the first ever video card called a GPU) in year 2000. And it felt magical to play games on it. I had always played with minimum specs only, and to have a gaming spec machine was pure awesome. those were the days, 3DFX Voodoo! drooling over a wealthy classmate's dual SLI voodoo setting, playing unreal in full setting, while we struggling to try to play it on a 2nd hand Matrox GPU that doesn't even meant for gaming Then of course that machine became obsolete real quickly. My course mates and I always compared specs between ourselves. One guy bought a Geforce 2 GTS. Another one had an Athlon XP. It was just a blossful time in my life. Now I have all of the entertainment gear I could want, yet I don't play them as much. I can just smell my retirement coming up not too long already... and sneak into the computer lab at midnight so we can play starcraft multiplayer QUOTE(TongCN @ Dec 28 2021, 11:24 AM) Lol ... Title change : Old Men Club - Xbox Series X|S yeah, that's another dilemma here, taking up spaces, I still have my NES & MD in their original boxes on top of cabinet collecting dustHow you guys handle those old console eh ? I have my PS3, PS4 and Xbox 360 now collecting dust there, cause i threw their box away during pindah rumah. Now put inside a cabinet there with dehumidifier and change monthly. I really hope here can support Xcloud so we can at least have some gaming session during lunch hour at least XD Sometime i do remote play in office my mom almost threw them away while shifting house, luckily my sis asked me if I still want them or not PS3 & PS4... I'm really thinking to sell them off, as they doesn't hold any sentimental values to me... |

QUOTE(awol @ Dec 29 2021, 05:28 PM) for controller battery, im using eneloop pro, as suggested by reddit. just beware that high capacity batts like eneloop pro has much lower charge cycles compared to the lower one, hence shorter lifespans MS or 3rd party battery pack smaller in capacity compared to eneloop pro. also what I've noticed from my Eneloop pro as well: once you see batt low warning on screen, you'll have less than 10 min of juice left, after that the controller will power off straight got caught in that difficult situation few times d, once was in the middle of Destiny 2 raid boss, finally got a good run, almost beating the boss, then i got AFK cos ignoring the batt low warning and no time to swap batt, was cursed kau-kau by team mates that time |

QUOTE(KomradMikhail @ Dec 30 2021, 10:23 AM) That's why prefer immesely built-in batteries like in the DualSense. Made for the controller and none of these bullshit variables like good batch bad batches of rechargeable batteries nonsense. I've had my DualShock4 for years since PS4 released, and I still can get at least half a day charge, that's 6 hrs, on it while gaming. I mostly use my DS4 on my Androids, now mostly as controller for Remote Play or XCloud. yeah, to each of their ownThe only Xbox Controller with rechargeable batteries built in I like is the Elite V2. I'm not touching those after all the QC issues I read online. My two Elite V1s (except the kept-BNIB Gears of War 4 Elite V1) have been put through its paces, the side textured surfaces have peeled away. I've even DIYed repairs on both of them, the shoulder buttons have failed a few times on me. And the V1s STILL needs crappy batteries in them. I've got a few Microsoft official Play-and-Charge battery packs in them, but wires everywhere while charge. Messy! Hence my interest in the Nitho battery packs with the Charging tower I can keep away from the gaming area if needed to keep that clean look. I wonder if I can charge those Microsoft Play-and-Charge battery packs in them. Probably shouldn't risk it. But the 35-days to ship from China is burning away my patience slowly bit by bit. Oh, dont get me wrong. I still have my Eneloops. Along with the charging receptacle with LCD readout for their charge level for the fastest charging time. But the whole process of charging and replacing the batteries into the Xbox controller is tedious, pisses me off! I have other electronics that require battery swaps as well like remotes for my streaming devices, but those dont eat batteries like starving hyenas like these Xbox controllers. So battery swaps for these other electronics only happens rarely, far and few in between them losing charges, unlike Xbox controllers when I heavily use them for gaming. To each their own, I guess. I just want to get on with the gaming, not having to peel off the back cover and swap batteries in. Pet peeve. for me I'm not that heavy gaming nowadays, averaging once a week or more until batt swap is still fine for me, no complain there batt low? swap in fresh batt in less than a minute, full tank ready to go! unlike my DS4, need a charge every few days sometimes forgot to charge in advance, mid gaming then low batt warning came up, seriously potong stim then |

Reminder to self: Don't play puzzle games that used a lot of brain juice just before bed Installed The Pedestrian puzzle game last night, just wanna see what's it like, end up playing for few hours until almost half way of the game, and it destroyed my sleep last night, can't sleep properly as brain is still too active It's a simple platforming puzzle, light & nice, but some puzzles requires you to think a bit, sometimes need to think literally out of the box, strongly recommend you to give it a try awol liked this post

QUOTE(benblitz @ Jan 6 2022, 03:18 PM) Hey bros, been awhile since i posted on LYN. that's a fantastic deal you got there, you even can profit a little bit if you sell it at current market rate Just gotten myself a series S with 2 yrs gamepass for rm1180 (pretty swt huh). Its a used set, and being primarily a PS oriented I am very pleased with the series s. Gamepass is bonkers for what it offers, i have tons of games now and just recently beaten Halo Infinite, been a while since i really enjoy playing games! (Maybe its the age, and a kid) Like all of us here, i just dont have too much time to game. Mostly are at nights and when the kid is sleeping. Anyway, the measly internal storage is bugging me, i almost pulled trigger for the 1TB seagate card but held back. Feel like at that much money I might as well get the series x (which have 1TB internal) and sell off the s. Question is, is it worth it? But dang I love just how small the series S is next to the PS5! storage space is just the matter spend a little bit of time for preplan and maintenance, install only the game you wanna play, delete straight after you think you're not touching it in short term 512 should be just nice to keep your game library small, not all gamepass games need to be downloaded, since you're like most of us doesn't have too much time to game, just trim your installed library a bit, redownloading them againis a breeze anyway with the current highspeed broadband even my XsX 1Tb space is constantly at 98% full, i'm just too greedy now need to plan which games to uninstall to install the newly added Mass Effect legendary edition |
