Guys, the Dolby Atmos license on Xbox is tied to the same account on Win10/11 PC, right? Don't tell me I've to buy it twice on PC and Xbox?

Just in preparation of the arrival of my SteelSeries Arctis 7X mid next month.

Hard-wired to the AVR via HDMI2.1 CABLE, Atmos plug-and-play onboth the XSX and PC. The Dolby Access app just shows "Ready to use" with AVR as default audio processor.

Tried that too. The prompt is different now. Last time it was an error code but multiple tries can by pass it. Last night was different. It says card must be from origin country.

Yakuza Kiwami 1 & 2 also leaving game pass soon, downloaded the game since this year and not even boot up XD

Finished Halo Infinite yesterday and going back to Nier Automata now. There still plenty of backlog from Steam, PS4, Switch and even Series-X.

I think my best gaming years are already behind me. That time between college and final year university felt special. I had a Pentium III 600Mhx (later upgraded to 1Ghz), with Geforce 256 card (the first ever video card called a GPU) in year 2000. And it felt magical to play games on it. I had always played with minimum specs only, and to have a gaming spec machine was pure awesome.

Then of course that machine became obsolete real quickly. My course mates and I always compared specs between ourselves. One guy bought a Geforce 2 GTS. Another one had an Athlon XP. It was just a blossful time in my life.

Now I have all of the entertainment gear I could want, yet I don't play them as much. I can just smell my retirement coming up not too long already...

How you guys handle those old console eh ? I have my PS3, PS4 and Xbox 360 now collecting dust there, cause i threw their box away during pindah rumah.
Now put inside a cabinet there with dehumidifier and change monthly.

I really hope here can support Xcloud so we can at least have some gaming session during lunch hour at least XD

for controller battery, im using eneloop pro, as suggested by reddit.
MS or 3rd party battery pack smaller in capacity compared to eneloop pro.

That's why prefer immesely built-in batteries like in the DualSense. Made for the controller and none of these bullshit variables like good batch bad batches of rechargeable batteries nonsense. I've had my DualShock4 for years since PS4 released, and I still can get at least half a day charge, that's 6 hrs, on it while gaming. I mostly use my DS4 on my Androids, now mostly as controller for Remote Play or XCloud.

The only Xbox Controller with rechargeable batteries built in I like is the Elite V2. I'm not touching those after all the QC issues I read online. My two Elite V1s (except the kept-BNIB Gears of War 4 Elite V1) have been put through its paces, the side textured surfaces have peeled away. I've even DIYed repairs on both of them, the shoulder buttons have failed a few times on me. And the V1s STILL needs crappy batteries in them. I've got a few Microsoft official Play-and-Charge battery packs in them, but wires everywhere while charge. Messy!

Hence my interest in the Nitho battery packs with the Charging tower I can keep away from the gaming area if needed to keep that clean look. I wonder if I can charge those Microsoft Play-and-Charge battery packs in them. Probably shouldn't risk it. But the 35-days to ship from China is burning away my patience slowly bit by bit.

Oh, dont get me wrong. I still have my Eneloops. Along with the charging receptacle with LCD readout for their charge level for the fastest charging time. But the whole process of charging and replacing the batteries into the Xbox controller is tedious, pisses me off! I have other electronics that require battery swaps as well like remotes for my streaming devices, but those dont eat batteries like starving hyenas like these Xbox controllers. So battery swaps for these other electronics only happens rarely, far and few in between them losing charges, unlike Xbox controllers when I heavily use them for gaming.

To each their own, I guess. I just want to get on with the gaming, not having to peel off the back cover and swap batteries in. Pet peeve.

Hey bros, been awhile since i posted on LYN.

Just gotten myself a series S with 2 yrs gamepass for rm1180 (pretty swt huh). Its a used set, and being primarily a PS oriented I am very pleased with the series s. Gamepass is bonkers for what it offers, i have tons of games now and just recently beaten Halo Infinite, been a while since i really enjoy playing games! (Maybe its the age, and a kid)

Like all of us here, i just dont have too much time to game. Mostly are at nights and when the kid is sleeping. Anyway, the measly internal storage is bugging me, i almost pulled trigger for the 1TB seagate card but held back. Feel like at that much money I might as well get the series x (which have 1TB internal) and sell off the s.

Question is, is it worth it? But dang I love just how small the series S is next to the PS5!
