built a powerful PC recently, shouldn't have any issue running any games decently, but end up used mainly for my kids online class during weekdays, nighttime mining, and weekend roblox, minecraft & genshin impact for my kids

FromSoft is so worried cheaters cheating using memory addresses, that they slap together this bullshit on that affected everyone instead of stopping a few sneaky individuals. You know, "mad at the mosquitoes? Burn the mosquito net down" situation.   

Kaldaien is one of the active "fixer" for FromSoft games on PC. He and others assisted in adding unofficial ultrawide support and game tweaking to ensure game runs smoother. Google Kaldaien's Special K mod.

I dont blame them. And since FromSoft is using Easy Anti Cheat, they've just exposed themselves as intending to sell on Epic Games Store as well. Games only go to EGS to die when sale dries out on Steam. And once Elden Ring is there on EGS, it'll be cracked in no time, just like FFVIIR.

but the inclusion of the DRM usually is not decided by the developers right?  usually it's the Publisher that die die wanted the DRM in their games to deter pirates

Cracked version of Elden Ring was already out 20 minutes after it launched. The stutter is still on the cracked version, which doesn't have an EAC.

The PC Elden misery never ends.

First there's the stutter after every enemy spawn. The stutter every new area traversed.

Now with update 1.02 (on PC only), enemies turn invisible (?), and controller cant be assigned by the game itself or Steam Input.

All console versions are already at 1.02 after Day 1 patch. Still looking for that cheap Argentinian labor copy. Taking advantage of their failed currency.

ARS2,999 vs RM199. One version I can carry and play everywhere and play on TV as well, the other is strictly TV home-theater affair only. Decisions......

P/s: play everywhere as in like this. On the exact machine. Reach home, plug in docked. Enjoy on TV and home theater.

I just noticed last night my series X fan is running even with the console off for more than 2-3 hours. Is this normal?

Anyone can confirm the Elite Series 2 controller buttons are also clicky like the xbox controller? Really contemplating to get it.

Hmm, I am not sure. But my console turns on instantly though.
There wasn't any noise. The fan was spinning subtly. I don't think the console is self updating. Cause my console/games are always updated when available.

You'll get used to dying a lot. still remember my first experience playing DS3. died like 10 or so times against the first boss before I QUIT! Why did I buy this stupid game. 
about 10 or so months later. I pick it up again & beat the first boss. My friends teach & carry/help me until I finish it. Even bought the DLC. that was 5 years. Still have a screenshot/game recording in Cloud. lol
Now bought Elden Ring. Why do I torture myself again.
