i left AO last month. couldn't stand the workload, i supported more towards midrange operations. mainframe colleague also got more free time than midrange so imagine that
another reason? i got backstabbed by 1 of the head when she knew i was leaving. even the IS in HK told me personally. (i was close to him during my trip to HK for training) so yea, AO sux but if u want to gain experience...by all means go ahead. FYI, lots of ppl are leaving anyways |

yes sometime the agents can't handle the stress, but sometimes the stress is just too great to be handled. human beings are still human beings, have limits.

I agree with metrodude350.
The MD management style is chinaman, while Atos worldwide should be a good place to work in, in Malaysia, it sucks big time. In order to make it good here, you have to be a shoe-shiner(also you have to shoe-shine the correct person), work hard with positive results. Missing any of these criteria, your efforts will be useless no matter how big your contribution may be. Recently there is a department in this company which in the pass do very well. but recently are unable to gain any good projects. So what happens to this department is they are offered retrenchment or transferred to a position that does not suit their skill set. More disturbing is this company have hired a labor law expert so to 'protect' themselves. IMO, if a company is not doing so many things that would be 'less ethical' why would they need such experts. I myself is a victim of this company's vicious execution. My contribution to this company is not little as well at least I have done the job as paid, even more than my not so luxurious salary as some of my counterpart gets. Even that, I believed in working hard so that maybe my contribution would be appreciated. Guess what, this company expects such commitment, but not willing to reward. For GT...if you get the job, I would advice to join. It is a good start to join a MNC for first job. Don't put any high hopes. Your purpose of joining is to learn and gain experience(make sure you know what you are doing and what you want to achieve). Word hard and smart, stay away from politics but be aware of it and if you are to stay pray hard that someone actually notice your commitment. Else just get the experience and leave. There are many other company with much appraisal system and benefit out there. |

from what i heard, the overall work environment of AO is stressful with high workload...but come to think about it, other company is also stressful with high workload...it depends on how to see it and what is your tolerance and acceptance level.

Just got called up by a headhunter. Somehow someone in Atos got my resume and wants me.
Offer is good - 17k a month for PMO consultant , mainly because they want to get into telco and i have a 18 years background in telco projects. I just want to know more about the bosses - are they good to work with? I am not too worried about office politics as this is a high level position. I may try to get them to hire me as a 3rd party consultant instead of a permanent staff, depending on the feedback I get from you guys who are currently working there. Sounds like alot did not have a good thing to say in the past. Has it changed much? |

Guys dont go to ATOS. Trust me its worst.
suffering. just sucks. Lately they cut-cost over everything. From small salary, to no bonuses, to very small increments (last i get is just RM30 to be frankliest honest). give appreciation based on discrimination (chinese to chinese, malay to malay, best friends or ones that work there longer). people also take one of their friends references. Managers there also low-classes quality bcoz of promoting stupid kiss-assers people. One more thing that others might think its cool but infact not. ATOS would never fired peoples up. That will caused a problematic people that have problems, bad attitude, bad discipline, bad manners etc. And some even caused huge $$$ lost to ATOS but still work happily there. And you will face these peoples everyday. planning on not giving 100% insurance (we have to pay 20% if sick). Its like work work work as long as you still breathing. workloads there no problem. Yes sometimes it stressful but its normal and can be dealt with. It just, the culture there, and how they runs things up. Its plain damn SUCKS! with good $$$, but in ATOS, nope. |

What the other guy posted above is true. AVOID at all cost. Of all the MNC + 1 chinaman company i've been with, atos cyberjaya is the worse.
Some big issue during my time - There issue with whole team left (7 people) at same time after fighting with their bos. Bos got promoted instead of being questioned... - There a team with india expat as bos, taking all indian from india as permanent with high salary and no technical knwowledge, while local not being promoted and treated like paria. New local only via contract, by indian outsourcing company. - Some team that i know, team lunch money and claim are being songlap-ed by bosses and his gang HR knows about this, so far nothing happen. And previous HR manager was transferred out to other department. Funny enough, before HR manager got transferred out, there's a case with 1 bos + his gang fighting with 1 engineer. Was there to break out the fight. That bos is well known connected with HQ bosses I've seen people resigned, and being harasses while serving their notice. I know 1 person who resigned and currently looking into lawsuit due to harassment while serving notice. There so many more shitty things, but best not to reveal to protect identity Put down my paper few weeks ago, best decision ever. My advice is to avoid this company if you have other option, or take the offer and hoping for a good team, and well protected by bos, else keep on searching. There's also bosses i've work with, specifically 2 guys. really earn my respect, but it just not worth it to be working there. This post has been edited by kokopok: Jan 21 2019, 03:15 PM |

QUOTE(kokopok @ Jan 21 2019, 04:54 AM) What the other guy posted above is true. AVOID at all cost. Of all the MNC + 1 chinaman company i've been with, atos cyberjaya is the worse. is worldline the new name for atos now?
