Anyone know about their IT Graduates Training Programme (Credit Card Solutions) in Mid Valley.
Is it beneficial to go in this field there

Then again most contact centers have high turnover rate. The agents just can't handle the stress.

yes sometime the agents can't handle the stress, but sometimes the stress is just too great to be handled. human beings are still human beings, have limits.

from what i knew, neither a good interviewer nor a good supervisor...
china-man thinking, "highly" self-protective doh.gif

believed those questions posted regarding high turnover rate, there should be a reason for that, so a piece of advice to think twice b4 go in, otherwise u will exit fast !!
then u get bad tainted recruitment record later...

hi pal, a piece of nice advice, many places u may goes for Grad Training Program, not necessarily to pick this place.
in fact many other organization provides better GTP package nowadays, remember options are there if u are GT !! cool2.gif

i left AO last month. couldn't stand the workload, i supported more towards midrange operations. mainframe colleague also got more free time than midrange so imagine that whistling.gif

another reason? i got backstabbed by 1 of the head when she knew i was leaving. even the IS in HK told me personally. (i was close to him during my trip to HK for training)

so yea, AO sux but if u want to gain experience...by all means go ahead. FYI, lots of ppl are leaving anyways wink.gif
*
hi, i support what u did!! i believed what u said about AO sux!!

backstabbing is normal there (even higher management plays the backstabbing tricks well) !!

recently I saw this ads:
user posted image

is this to show that atos origin is expanding or some people decide to leave the co. thus creating this opportunities?
*
if u always monitor job portals in malaysia, you will always found AO always looking for ppl to do credit cards development/support, so means their turnover rate super... this has been since year 2007 until today June 2011 AO still posting advertisement ON THE SAME POSITION, so sad !!

not some decide to leave, is ppl inside there mostly come and go... those whom survive then u should beware !! (logically)

I agree with metrodude350.

The MD management style is chinaman, while Atos worldwide should be a good place to work in, in Malaysia, it sucks big time.

In order to make it good here, you have to be a shoe-shiner(also you have to shoe-shine the correct person), work hard with positive results. Missing any of these criteria, your efforts will be useless no matter how big your contribution may be.

Recently there is a department in this company which in the pass do very well. but recently are unable to gain any good projects. So what happens to this department is they are offered retrenchment or transferred to a position that does not suit their skill set. More disturbing is this company have hired a labor law expert so to 'protect' themselves. IMO, if a company is not doing so many things that would be 'less ethical' why would they need such experts.

I myself is a victim of this company's vicious execution. My contribution to this company is not little as well at least I have done the job as paid, even more than my not so luxurious salary as some of my counterpart gets. Even that, I believed in working hard so that maybe my contribution would be appreciated. Guess what, this company expects such commitment, but not willing to reward.

For GT...if you get the job, I would advice to join. It is a good start to join a MNC for first job. Don't put any high hopes. Your purpose of joining is to learn and gain experience(make sure you know what you are doing and what you want to achieve). Word hard and smart, stay away from politics but be aware of it and if you are to stay pray hard that someone actually notice your commitment. Else just get the experience and leave. There are many other company with much appraisal system and benefit out there.

if u do notice in the forum threads, then u may shred some light on which are good companies, u need to spend sometime on the survey in the forum (but believe me it is worth it)... coz u r looking for a great career starter

many other companies do have better salary for fresh nowadays and a good place as training ground (u should gain more skills and knowledge in s/w engineering if you wanna move further in this path), good luck !!

>> i agreed with you!!

>> hahaha, need to be a great and outstanding butt-sxxker instead.... work hard and positive is very much subjective there (most important at the same time the guy u sxxk his/her butt is very close and be-friend). otherwise regardless ur great contribution will be still reset to zero in the end. (u should have experienced this, i think). there's a saying in chinese "they can face-off even quicker than flipping a page of book !!

Recently there is a department in this company which in the pass do very well. but recently are unable to gain any good projects. >> yes they likes to play dirty tricks just to have their own protection, very non-professional, non ethical and not standard, not steady company. play dirty tricks also to get rid whoever is not prefer, or got into their way. But still sad to hear ur encounter.

I myself is a victim of this company's vicious execution. >> yes, they expecting ur 200% contribution but paying u low salary. At least u are awaken now, greater world outside, wish u luck!! maybe they let you have a better chance to look for outside world, u may "thanks" to them, hahaha.. right?!?
>> for GT, i disagree with this, other places really better, coz even that place is not good, once u enter then u may seek for quick-exit point then ur record got tainted!! think twice...

from what i heard, the overall work environment of AO is stressful with high workload...but come to think about it, other company is also stressful with high workload...it depends on how to see it and what is your tolerance and acceptance level.

Just got called up by a headhunter. Somehow someone in Atos got my resume and wants me.
Offer is good - 17k a month for PMO consultant , mainly because they want to get into telco and i have a 18 years background in telco projects.

I just want to know more about the bosses - are they good to work with? I am not too worried about office politics as this is a high level position.
I may try to get them to hire me as a 3rd party consultant instead of a permanent staff, depending on the feedback I get from you guys who are currently working there. Sounds like alot did not have a good thing to say in the past. Has it changed much?

Hi all:
I got a job offer from Atos Cyberjaya. Should or should I not join Atos after hearing all the rumours? But I'm desperately looking for job. Salary cukup2 makan only.
