Bro Chun...the last picture is what i meant.

If you notice, if wont go down/hard to go down due to the length release point(Red color arae).

Try to shorten the release point(red color area). As shown above on my post(pic), the release point is just ngam ngam only..not as lengthy as yours.

The point will be pushing against the body of the froggy thus hard to release from the hook

Bro Chun,

It's much better now, but however it will not work as desired.

Try bending the weedless wire to be straight and then a sharp 90degree at the tip at about 3mm... smile.gif

I guess that your wire could be too long ler smile.gif

Added on August 24, 2007, 5:20 pmwire could be too stiff too

hey guys

Yeah, bro Q is right, the person i supposed to meet up went to Merchong and whack Sailfish. smile.gif

Last weekend was nothing much to say about.

The weather was super good, super sunny, super hot, nice wind, good partner, great inflatable boat, good lures, good techniques.

BUT ZERO CATCH!!!

I also garuk kepala liao...tiuz... sad.gif

If there were 150 splashes, me and bro VW both got about 100 cast that is exact on the dot, but they dont take.. sad.gif I got 2 strikes with loads of bubbles, but due to the rod action that i was using having some delay(60:40 rod), i am not able to strike. sad.gif

Practically that only ler...

Then in the evening, went to putrajaya with Bro Tingky to watch the firework by Italy team. I'll post some pics of the firework later.. smile.gif

Benefit for all angler...

3 different species of grouper will be discussed.

Mouse grouper aka Panther grouper aka humpback grouper aka baramundi grouper
Cromileptes altivelis
user posted image

Description

The head, nape and shoulders of the barramundi cod closely resembles that of barramundi, hence its name. Barramundi cod are sexually mature at 39cm and grow up to 70 cm (5kg). They are recognised by their profile and distinctive colouration. These fish typically have a small head humped backs and characteristic black spots, with a creamy-grey background. When spooked barramundi cod develop a fright colouration, being brownish blotches over the body.

Habitat/distribution

The barramundi cod is a marine species, and prefers reef environments along the Great Barrier Reef from the Capricorn-Bunker reef groups in central Queensland to the Torres Strait. Large barramundi cod commonly allow themselves to become tide-bound in the shallow coral pools of Barrier Reef cays, such as the Fairy Pools on Heron Island's north-eastern reef-flat or those on the northern face of Wistari Reef. It can be found at depths around 40m.

Genus Species: Mycteroperca tigris / Tiger Grouper

powerful suction from opening large mouth; swallows prey whole after holding it in small rasp
like teeth that cover the jaws, tongue and palate; grouper are hermaphroditic and begin life as
females, then change to males with maturity; wary
