i think of all china bikes as well, zontes provide the most comprehensive in parts no and also manual to service the bike, literally how to disassemble them with images. For example if one wants to remove fairing only, there is section on it. Can literally buy the part from taobao, unlike other china brands. Too bad the depreciation value is very bad for the brand. Their bike are really good quality

Bike depreciation depends on a few things.

Sometimes the new model completely obsoletes the old one. Summore got CKD. Then the old one immediately depreciate like hell.

Case in point, the Z800. The second Z900 came out in CKD, second hand z800 prices dropped like a stone. Now it's super cheap.

In the case of Ducati, just before the timing belt change... value drops like hell. LOL. So if you find a cheap-ish Ducati, this is the first thing to ask.

If depreciation bothers you, buy a 3-5 year old big bike from a weekend hero biker who racks up very little mileage. By the time you sell it on years later, you will have lost very little.

Tip: Many guys buy big bikes on impulse, then 2 years later cannot pay hutang and are forced to sell. Nice bargains to be had here. But beware... some of these idiots lari hutang and sell the bike secara haramjadah (JT), some try sell the bike secara 'sambung bayar'. Steer clear, unless you also the haramjadah type willing to gamble.

Sharing these 2 ads that I found in mudah.
Really cheap for how much power you can get in a bike.
I personally use a speed triple R myself.
125+ whp and 100+ Nm of torque for less than 30k and ohlins suspension for the R model.
The only cost that you need to do is rebuild the front forks and rear shock, and probably VC depending on the mileage.
Even with those costs added, it will still be less than 40k.

Main reason why I'm advocating for getting used bikes. You can find gems like these.

Dyno run that I did with my bike which had a power commander installed.

I suggest u directly visit imotorbike.com or visit their shop instead of search in mudah.
More update, more pictures, can book test drive or even book yr ride.
Easier find yr gems.

The look is divisive though.

Just barely a year after I bought my 400 and I am already thinking about changing bike tongue.gif

And unlike most of us I am contemplating 'downgrading' to CBR250RR, love the trico color scheme and stock exhaust sound, and it's something I can rev hard for the thrill on road without riding at illegal speed.

Using my bike purely for daily commute, where I am constantly in the range of 40~100, there is really no way to use the excess power. The dreams of doing road trips and Genting rides prior to getting my bike turn into imaginations only, turns out what you think you would do with the bike and what you would really end up doing with it is quite different.

Yeah I agree the look isnt for everyone. But it has about the same look of mt-09 and mt-10 v2.. and even 2025 bmw s1000r laugh.gif

Its not a first look fell in love kind of style.

Your 400 is capable enough to do genting ride, just do it brows.gif

Trust me, the 400 is a lot better as a daily ride than any 250 can be. sporty 250s are tuned for higher end power, which makes it very weak in the midrange, and mid range is what you need in traffic. In terms of weight, there isn't really that much between them if the 250 and 400 are twins.

Even better in city traffic are the 400 class singles. brap brap.

No such thing as cannot use the excess power. I ride a 800 on the daily.

I don't disagree. I used to still travel to Melaka once or twice per month last year when I can still utilize the power on the highway, but since January this year 90% of the time my bike is on the federal highway motorcycle lane laugh.gif So yea my speed is anywhere between 40~100 these days.

I am contemplating two setups at the moment:

Option 1 (2 bikes setup):
1 scooter: will do two things that no other bikes can do :-
- Shield my legs from splashes when I ride through puddles
- No gear shifting: I am a sucker for white shoes

1 sportsbike - CBR250RR when I need to get on highway/do long distance, or I keep my Ninja 400.

-----------------

Option 2 (1 bikes setup):
1 sports tourer - maybe a used CBR650R.

I am leaning towards option 1, maybe it's a bit silly to go from a 400 to 250, but I noticed the way I like sportsbike is a lot more emotional (colors, design, cockpit view, exhaust sound) than practical. I just think the CBR250RR has everything I want.
