The look is divisive though.
Just barely a year after I bought my 400 and I am already thinking about changing bike
And unlike most of us I am contemplating 'downgrading' to CBR250RR, love the trico color scheme and stock exhaust sound, and it's something I can rev hard for the thrill on road without riding at illegal speed.
Using my bike purely for daily commute, where I am constantly in the range of 40~100, there is really no way to use the excess power. The dreams of doing road trips and Genting rides prior to getting my bike turn into imaginations only, turns out what you think you would do with the bike and what you would really end up doing with it is quite different.
Trust me, the 400 is a lot better as a daily ride than any 250 can be. sporty 250s are tuned for higher end power, which makes it very weak in the midrange, and mid range is what you need in traffic. In terms of weight, there isn't really that much between them if the 250 and 400 are twins.Just barely a year after I bought my 400 and I am already thinking about changing bike

Even better in city traffic are the 400 class singles. brap brap.
No such thing as cannot use the excess power. I ride a 800 on the daily.
