just bought a new superman (4R36)...it's my first seiko, and I have some Qs about adjusting the day/date 1. About the day, i've notice there's alot of display options from, redblock, Mon, I, Tues, II, Wed, III, etc... Q: what does the roman numeric means? 2. About adjusting the time/day/date. I've tried to adjust accordingly, but I've notice when i adjusted past 12am, the date rolls to next date (which is normal), BUT the day doesn't, but when I keep continue adjust the time forward, the day switch to next day when time is 1am Q: is it normal or am I did something wrong earlier and F up? After some curiosity & worry, I read the manual, and it says should not adjust the time/day/date between 9pm and 4am, and I can't recalled if i accidentally did that.. appreciate sifus out there can guide me up... 1. Just Roman date, so u can choose diff display for the days.
2. You mean the date does not immediately turn to the next day at 12am but at 1am? That's normal. |

QUOTE(fuzzy @ Nov 12 2020, 01:52 AM) 1. Just Roman date, so u can choose diff display for the days. Date like 10,12,14 changes after 12am2. You mean the date does not immediately turn to the next day at 12am but at 1am? That's normal. but day like Mon,Tue,Wed, etc changes after 1am So it consider as normal case? I expect Date & Day will change together once time reaches 12am...logically. |

QUOTE(steevan1000 @ Nov 13 2020, 09:35 PM) Sorry, but basically what ffrozz said. Your watch is basically 12 hours ahead of the current time. So while it is 9am, the watch thinks it is 9pm. That's why when it comes to noon, it will start to change date, because it's moving into a "new" day. Solution is to simply change the time ahead 12 hours, and then go back and re-adjust your date |

QUOTE(scorpio94 @ Nov 16 2020, 08:18 PM) Hello sifus, just got my hand on a 2nd hand skx007. Noticed that the case had some weird defect. I wonder if the warranty covers this ? Are you sure it's a defect since it's second hand? If it was heavily used, that might just be some crazy wear and tear from a strap that might be too tight against the case |
