The now discontinued SARY057. Never the popular one in comparison to SARB033

seiko already been increasing prices of the 6r models like the sumo / shogun... then the newer 6rmas / mm200...
while 4r models are taking over the old 6r prices.

that's why i think those "rumors" of alpinist / sarb getting discontinued is for ppl to quickly buy off remaining stocks... of cos that backfired abit since they're still readily available.
looking at the trend, the discontinued applies more to the 6r15... the models with 6r15 are just casualties...
then those models will later get upgraded with 6r35...like sumo / alpinist...

i doubt they will...maybe just a fraction...
but eventually the new sarbs will also drop in price...

I hope not hahaha, just planned to buy 1 actually but really felt divided between the 2 watches which is why I’m considering getting the other one in a few months time. Let’s see if it’s still stuck in my mind by then. 😅

Here's my first Seiko! Feels quite solid in hand, but the leather/textile band a bit harder than I'd like. Prolly needs a few days to shape it into my wrist

That's the raised bit nornally lumed at the 12 mark on the bezel.. just visually handy to zero out your descent/ascent time while diving. No real biggie, doubt you'll be diving with that semi leather strap. I didnt even notice it although I'm a diver... hmm.

oh ok like the one on my sub? one bola on the bezel?

I have a 6139 movement that I want to service, thong sia cannot service this model.

Is there any reputable shop in KL (wont swap the ori parts) that can service this model ?
