hi sifus. i wanna buy my first seiko for myself (as i bought skx007 few years back for my father's birthday). Budget around rm1k max. as the skx version is discontinued and replaced with seiko 5 sport superman, do u guys think its a good buy? im eyeing SEIKO 5 SRPD61K1.

one of the best seiko i've worn, feels so light and soft. i know it sounds oxymoron but it doesn't feel so hard / cold compared to steel bracelet watches. Damm hard to get also as it's JDM model. Bought it on a trip to Hokkaido end of last year..
reluctant to let go but scuba is expensive.. haha.. and this watch is too fragile to bring underwater.

daily wear as an fashion accessory will be a great choice but compared to the skx, this newer model losses the divers certification an limited at 10bar or 100m water resistant only

if u want to go swimming with your watch better to look at the baby turtle range

what features u want?
time accuracy, long reserve hours, good resistant glass, good resale value, diving features, GPS features,daily work which contact with water, for daily normal office use, going for fine dining, for meeting, great lume ?
