For me, ASNB limit of online 2k withdrawal/month puts a layer of security. Online identity theft and fraud is real these days.

For EPF, some may not be comfortable with activation of online withdrawal... Imagine some scam took hold of both your EPF and Banking credentials... a large sum of money can disappear from EPF over few days.... (scammers transfer money from EPF into savings account, from there, they transfer to mule account)

Diversifying your portfolio is always a good idea.

Buy ASM3 now still can get dividend, right ? When is the last date to buy in order to get dividend ?

not for me. i did it during one of their promo where you deposit a certain amount and they'll waive the fee. they have this kind of waiver every once in awhile.

The only unlimited fund is ASB1... Because there's no fund size for it

But ASM 3 sold out is much surprising.... Since it's least preferred by many.... And it's 1bil offering which is double of ASM 1 500mil offering...

I don't really think it's rich... More like those with FD moving to ASMx funds.... Because of lower rates offered by the banks...
EPF also cannot deposit all because 100k limit only...

Only "public" quota is fully taken up.
Bumi units Quota is widely available for new subscription. Same with ASM2 Wawasan

MY PERSONAL ANALYSIS :
1. Even if the 3K will only be eligible for dividend next month onwards based on the minimum monthly balance rule, for 12 months period, you will still get higher return
   
    Eg. for 100K :
    1. Place in FD interest at 4% : Return for 12 months = RM4000
   
    2. Place in ASM3 now, assumption dividend is 4.5%, first month no interest unless invest on 1st of the month : Return for 12 month = 100,000 * 11/12 * 4.5% = 4125,
   
    As the computation shown : The return of ASM3 is still higher

I am a novice in ASM investing, this is my purely my personal analysis based on my reading recently, anyone care to comment, feel free to point out my mistake if any

In addition to the higher return, one should not wait for the "best time" to invest in ASM, the number of units is hard to come by unless ASN announce additional unit for subscription (which is uncertain and no guarantee it will), therefore, my opinion is : buy as many unit as possible if you can get it.

If you are looking at DAILY interest rate, digital bank such as GXbank and AEONBANK are lowering their rates faster than one can imagine, which conventional banks are now offering 0.025% in saving account, so not much you really can earn !!!
