could it be projected income this financial year taken into consideration, payout first and next year less dividend to average out?

I don't think they can

Most probably is either fund from PNB or reserved from previous year income (from history this was what they did)

Interesting Socmed comments 😆

QUOTE
Alhamdulillah....lebih tinggi dari 2021 😃
Tapi kenapa lagi tinggi dari ASB kali ni🤔
Wow...lagi tinggi juga dari KWSP shariah

QUOTE
Orang yang handle dana ASB dah boleh berhenti. Adakah patut ASB2 lagi tinggi dari dana utama ASB. ini ke level orang2 dalam PNB buat malu

QUOTE
Tahniah PNB... Tak dijangka...Dividen ASB2 jauh lebih tinggi dr tahun lepas (4.3 vs 5)...Yang peliknya kenapa prestasi ASB2 jauh lebih baik dari ASB1 (4.65 vs 5)?...patut sebaliknya

QUOTE
Hahahaa..lbh tggi dr asb1..dah lah asb1 30k unit je dpt 5.1%.. selebihnya 4.6%.. asb 2 seunit 5%

QUOTE
After last year mass withdrawal. PNB dah kecut. Guna reserved to payout ke ?

Basically
Everyone is shocked with the ASB2 performance
And it's not tier dividend too like ASB

If return below 4.5% this time, sure high withdrawal rate.
So mungkin terpaksa pay higher dividend to maintain fund..

Ambank 11m Promo is at 4.5%
But it's over this day...

Ordinary one is 4.3% 12m
Something like that...

So yes...
ASM1 rate is more than FD rate benchmark 😁
