Only time would tell..

Btw u mentioned about mass withdrawal right on previous post.. well it did happen to ASMx fund before... I think around April/May 2013 period like that.... Just 1 click, got 30k units like that ๐Ÿค‘๐ŸŽ‰ don't need to wait hours, waste time spam amounts...

Yeh the best time was when myASNB had just made available but not formally announced

That was the best time when you can hit RM30,000 anytime

To those who just did transfer to others recently, appreciate if you could share on your experience

1. Can it be done at any agent (bank / Pos Msia) or only at ASNB offices?
2. Does transfer have a dedicated form to fill in? (Previously subscription = blue form, withdrawal / redemption = red form)
3. Does receiver have to be present?
4. Just NRIC will do?
5. What is the minimum and interval amount? (RM100?)

Thanks in advance!

Sounded more like a place to show off lol sweat.gif

Well nexona88 and myself already 'retired' from buying just hopefully next year dividend won't be too disappointing, if the fund managers know when to take chance

Anyway Maybank at least gave some dividend and PBE also did well so at least something there

Announcement for ASB end of this year should be an indication for us (ASM)

My view is that dividend below 4% will be at least 2 years.
Too much uncertainty and next year we can see how vaccines do its job to slow down the spread and eventually put a stop to it.
I'm still grateful as long it's over the FD rate haha

Same here.. not expecting any V shape recovery... But yeah.. slowly business is picking up especially in tourism industry..... Retail just okay. Nothing to be proud off...

Fund manager would have some hard time... In giving the return.. now we can test/see who actually have the needed skills.. in this hard time... Because all this time.. all tcss only.. I can give this that return...
*
But... at tge same time EPF announced good return and analyst said no problem giving >5%

SSPN also announced good news and looking fwd to give >4%

So... Hmphh...

let's see if really can give above 5 & 4 respectively or it's just pure tcss  cool2.gif
only time would tell  dry.gif

maybe some profits from Glove rally  drool.gif  brows.gif
(kids / noobie also can make $$ from it lorh... don't needed expert/pro fund managers for it)  dry.gif
*
walao if tok tok tok then no 5% EPF then slap their own face, they should have in mind that they are professional not politi... ok you know I know

but I hope 5% can meet lar at least can compensate a bit for ASNB

Anyway, let's put that aside for now and HAPPY NEW YEAR! in ~6 hours...

yes, we all know that.  laugh.gif

now we all wait for the last week of March for ASB2 & ASM dividend announcement

btw, when will they announce EPF, SSPN, and (god forbid) TH dividend?

this might give some clue to the performance of other ASNB products
*
EPF usually from 20th February onwards (End Feb)

Not sure about the rest as I do not invest in those

I went to Maybank and HLB. ..asked the officer macam donโ€™t know anything about transfer to 3rd party.
*
This is the problem that some of the staff in agent banks were not briefed about it

I also faced the same with the staff giving out numbers until I insisted that it can be done at agent banks and they called up ASNB to clarify

When I reached counter seems like the staff handling ASNB was well trained about it and even the form is available with him instead of with the staff giving out numbers

Guess if the banks you went to didn't know about it either you insist them to clrify with ASNB or head directly to ASNB office nearest to you for peace of mind

Iโ€™ve called to check with ASNB. It seems that currently only RHB and CIMB can do. May i know which bank you went?

I went to CIMB

You try the nearest RHB / CIMB then

Hope your next trip won't meet another clueless staff again biggrin.gif

Actually there's this crazy theory or rumors going on..
If ASNB does go bankrupt? Gomen would "bailout" ASB fund first... Then if there's anything left.. then only look at others fund...

I find this such BS....
It's more like scare tactics from those UT agents....
Or those with interest in ASMx fund (clear/lessen the competition, so easier to hunt some units??) ๐ŸŽฏ๐Ÿ’ฐ
*
And some act smart ppl as well when ASM3 was still AS1M and they see the name 1M they will tell you 1MDB lololol

Once heard someone in my office told that to colleague fast fast sell now 1MDB problem you still dare to hold ah lolol

QUOTE(Afterburner1.0 @ Mar 2 2021, 02:09 PM)
optimistic maybe 5% tops.... lowest 4.2%
*
5% is really way optimistic as ASB was not straight 5% so...

My guess 4.x%

endless units flowing until bank balance minimum level or near empty.. eat grass or maggie only that time  devil.gif  sweat.gif

hmm was then already with myasnb?

I only remember when myasnb was first "pre-launched" it was also pretty easy to catch units across 3 ASM funds
