bumi funds will always be higher than non-bumi funds due to political reasons. regardless whether 'taking from previous savings' or 'saving for rainy days' to manipulate it.

the 300k is the initial deposit limit,

this limit can expand in two ways
1. reinvested dividend
2. inheritance transfer

option 1, even if u put in 200k initially, it only doubles every 8 or so years, so in 16 yrs you will end up with 800k

option 2 is more likely, as inheritance will expand your limit in lesser amount of time, say if your parents passed away and he has some money in ASB units, u will be given 2 options = either cash out or transfer to your ASB account

of course you know which one is the more clever option

ASB2 has 300k initial limis

while ASB3 Didik has no limits, but the units occasionally sold out at the end of the month

ASMx competitor, EPF predicted to give 6.5%.

My fund came in late. Just came in today instead of yesterday . Worth putting into asnb still and lose 1 month dividend or wait for next month and park in versa first

I am more preferred to EPF, I also start to invest AAPL since year 2022. That's why EPF>ASB/ASM.

I have confident that EPF at least has 6% dividend. I not sure where did EPF invest beside from Bursa Malaysia but my guess is Nasdaq is one of the best choices. Especially for the 7 big techs such like NVIDIA is the biggest winner in year 2023 since we are now all talking about AI.

Although I not sure where did EPF invest but image if nvidia is part of EPF's investment. I'm sure that EPF must has at least 6% dividend for this year.
